I’ve watched dozens of “Gotcha” videos. I don’t understand why the Chinese officials don’t ban cameras! So many new parents spend more time on their photography than on making a good impression on their new frightened child. Also how about cubicles for parents and child to have privacy away from all the chaos generated in a big room? Then I see so many patents grabbing g the child, shifting g it back b k and forth while presenting a toy, then a lollipop, another toy, a book, etc. This new family needs quiet time for soft whispers and cuddles, with no distractions.

Amen. Frightened little children bombarded with items , cameras and chaos. No thought given to the emotional well being of these precious scared children.

I cannot believe that anyone could downvote any adoption video much less this one. This is a wonderful, life changing event. Because of adoption into a loving family, these little ones dont have to spend their lives inside an institution..they get to become all God intended them to be. Live, family, security - it's a big deal. But, I guess there are those types of people in every crowd
