Here is an example of my $100 Barebones package will look like, it is very simplistic and doesn't have a lot of screens. I was asked to make it a very easy to navigate theme that goes right into gameplay fast.

I recently set up a mini PC that runs OBS and allows people to save game capture footage onto a flash drive. This game is still available for download from its original location. The link is in the description. Still works in 2025! The final patch was in 2019 and I am no longer able to provide updates. If I could, I would start over on a new project. But I'm glad there is still interest in Dance Maniax Update and the Dance Maniax series in general. Thank you.
this shit is typical esp for rhythm game communities and lets say private gatekept arcade communities in general, full of weird ass people... Best thing to do is just to keep a low profile and don't rise to the bullshit.
What happened to this project? Is it even still available for download?
For some reason the original author of this project can’t comment because UA-cam is dumb, but he told me the project has officially been discontinued a while back (months ago to be exact). I posted the download link in the video description, you’ll need a good internet connection to download all the content for DMX Update. I’ll probably make an installation video at some point and point out stuff like fullscreen and song unlock options.

Konami official controllers only if I’m correct, it only accepts the DDR GRAND PRIX mat that’s only obtainable in Japan sadly.
The expert chart looks more like an 11 than a 10. On the Hard 8 chart the highest score I got was 82.82% on keyboard spread and the 300 BPM ending in that chart with the mines, I have not been able to full combo yet.
It's funny that they explain that the song can't be played in English.

Are the white arrows lifts or 192nd notes? And this looks like the Scan noteskin on Etterna's repo with the other set of lines added.
Whites are lifts only I made the noteskin based off of my original Groove skin in GIMP, it was loosely based on Pump It Up Prime’s noteskin hahaha
The last theme, the theme not showing the song banner and difficulties, is actually the fallback theme. (source: looked at the preferences after switching to that) In the Hebrew theme, even the judgements and the WARNING text in the background when you have low health are translated too. Hold judgements are untranslated. The noteskin names on the modifier menu are translated too, except Robotic which is still in English. That theme works fine just like the default theme, but does not show how many fantastics, excellents, greats, etc on the evaluation screen. This game has five themes, which can be switched to in this order: Default, Hebrew, Lite Mode, Muted Hebrew, Fallback. I believe the fallback theme is not supposed to be selectable.
