I believe the situation in ICU cases is undeniably heartbreaking. It's alarming to think that doctors, just like the patients, are being held hostage in this system. It's a distressing reality that if a doctor or nurse disagrees or becomes a target of bullying, they could face the risk of losing their license. Even if the accusations are baseless, they can still be reported for mental health issues, tarnishing their record and potentially costing them their job. It's truly puzzling how this approach is meant to be helpful. I can understand why medical professionals are hesitant to seek help, as they fear the consequences of losing everything they have worked so hard for. Who would want to bear the burden of student loans when their license is revoked simply for reaching out for support? Unfortunately, the loans don't magically disappear. My thoughts and prayers are with the medical field during these challenging times.

As a patient I want my physician to be above a normal person. I need to know the doctor is on a higher level than myself. It is beyond freighting to think a surgeon is not stable. I’m afraid to ask a doctor if they are okay because they get offended.

Had no idea this was a problem but post Covid I would totally understand.

Patients waiting 2 days in the emergency room. Unacceptable.

I am an avid mental health awareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my UA-cam channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates.

I think if I was a doctor, and the Hospital CEO or a National board told me to lie to my patients, I couldn't do it. Especially if it was a life or death. I would just lose my license and my practice.

Thank you for bringing light to this horrible epidemic. Particular thanks to Dr. Pamela Wible who has dedicated her life's work to helping physicians.

I am in the process of becoming a doctor and I was inspired and am being mentored by my doctor. Sometimes when I see him, and after we talk for about a half hour to an hour, he seems to get as much out of it as I do. I believe many if not most doctors silently suffer from trauma and ptsd and are not able to admit it due to the stigma. I have gained a profound respect for all doctors and people working in medicine from him.

Thank you for making this video. I recently lost a fellow physician/friend to suicide. My heart still aches for those left behind. It is so hard for the general population to understand what we go through. Recognizing this early can save lives and provide needed quality care.
