Are food and coin tokens to be considered finite resources? In a 4 player game, we easily ran out of both.

Strongly disagree with 3 players being better…. Epic 2 player bluff game. 3 player has awkward rules.

Well if you store your games vertically then I really do not get why you would bother with an insert in the first place. And especially not the e-Raptor one. Apart from some that come with additional plastic lids none of them hold the tokens in a way that would handle vertical storage.

Jay keeps forgetting to pay for his hindrance card. Once at 8mins and a second time at 27mins.

The rulebook says in a standard game you keep all 5 objective cards. Maybe it is a difference in the first versus the second edition.

The key is not to have much respect in reviewers' opinions. When I watch or read a review I try to get a feeling of the game and not really care whether the reviewer liked it or not.

Why use your ability with a 4 when you had a 6 rolled? Could have saved ability for later in the roll...

Great vid...Have played 3 games...parks, treasure Island and dinosaur island... And agree they are all pretty thematic...even Dino island Darius... My most thematic games... Probably 2 that I don't own anymore... Middle Earth Quest... Basically lotr in a box... brilliant... Battlestar Galactica...have you played it yet Jay? The whole game just puts you into the series...and a superb traitor mechanism...

I will wait for solo play.

Do you know if the Event cards will be given more themeing? Other than the earthquake card it didn't really seem to explain why you were taking damage etc

When you are outbidded you are allowed to draw a treaty card for compensation. You forgot about that at least the first two times.

Hey guys! Thanks for posting this! I wanted to clarify some rules for you guys. There's one important rule that you guys missed that I think got in the way of the strategy of the game. CROSS cards can only be played on by a DEED of the next level in sequence. So it would require a Level II DEED to follow a CROSS I, a Level III DEED to follow a CROSS II, etc. You can't skip from Level I to Level III or IV. Much of the strategy in the game is built on this basic mechanic. You guys almost had it around 23:40 when one of you pointed out this phrasing in the rules: "REDEMPTION - play a DEED of the next level on a CROSS card" Without this rule, the cards you guys were able to play became less deliberate, and it definitely dragged the game out longer. On the card reference side, under the DEED rules, you'll find this line: "Throughout the round, DEEDS can be played on DEED or CROSS cards whose level is equal to one less than their own" So it is also a legal move to play a DEED on another DEED, as long as it is one level higher. Also, a NOPE is only relevant for whatever cards are beneath it when played. Just because a player has been NOPED doesn't mean they can't still earn a point on a different DEED (if they're able to use a OPPORTUNITAS for a second DEED). Hopefully that will help for the next time you decide to play. Thanks again! -Bryce, Vector Arcade

Love the base game! Any word if the expansions will be available in retail as well?

We tried to play the USA version with Alexa as third player, but encountered a lot of issues. For instance, when Alexa claimed a route, all she did was make the train whistle sound, but did not say where she was claiming. That meant we had no idea what routes might be blocked by her. Also, at the end of the game the scoring went haywire and we ended up getting the test match score and loosing the TTR score. As you can imagine, it has put us off using Alexa again. Have you ever had the problems I mention? Cheers

Nice play through. ..I love this game...have bought the expansion which adds some excellent elements to the game... I've only played it 2 player and solo(which is great). What I have found is that normally about half way through I always seem to change tactics and go for the bonus cards...good way of scoring.. Great job Jay and Amy 😃

Looking forward to seeing my solo playthrough...should compliment it well...
