Ahh okay cool. What size led strips did you use? I’ve used a rigid 6mm it would not flush at all the tube would just fall off even glued and now a mess have to redo it again anytime soon

@@asianlover666 What did you swap it out for? I've had a 17 3is IS350 w some aesthetic mods and I'm so ready for an upgrade the the RCF. Really looking for more power / "fun" out of a car.

@NathanielNicklas you won't regret the RCF. I swapped it for a 21 Jag Ftype R, all blacked out. I love it too, different animal. The RCF had a sense of being in something special.

Hey Phil. That's right. It is a direct swap with no modifications. Just make sure you get the right color and options code. I found them on an online lexus parts website. Honestly it was my favorite mod on the car, brought it up to the latest style!

@badasslilgti I think I found the wire from the driver's foot well. Check the forums I think I found the right wire from a search.

@jvan6674 yeah I'm familiar with that mode. Like a pedal dance. When I took that video I didn't do that. I just put it into expert.

Hi. Yes this was a dual swing out designed for the stock rear bumper.. I forgot who made that kit, but I know it was discontinued and i sold the fj a few years ago

They were really bright for sure, but that nice cutoff line made sure all the light goes on the road and not up in people's eyes. Great headlight upgrade for sure!

@@SassyOnline That's right. You'll notice that all "projector" style headlights have glass lenses and cutoff lines to prevent that (like the one in my audi here). This is mandated by the Dept. of Transportation. Some people put these high powered bulbs in "reflector" type headlights which sends light upwards and is downright dangerous and illegal. My modifications in this video simply took the cutoff line from audi, and made it sharper and more defined, and then I put in a new bulb. The brightness is no brighter than a new headlight bulb you would get in a new Audi.
