Oh, beautiful NZ, where you can hike through the bush with only shorts! No dangerous plants or animals. Mind you, I still wouldn't work with a chainsaw that way, though...
davetileguy rimu is big $$$ and milling it in the bush were it dose not coast any thing and only the good finished product was flown out and in a short period of time it was very cost effective these blocks are very remote
Putting music in aviation videos should be made a criminal offence, so I'm glad it's silent now, although the raw sound of the machine would have been better.
Get to soddery, "mate". I am a huge fan of the Scout / Wasp design, fixated on it since childhood, but I hate music on aviation videos as do many if not most viewers. How is that "trolling"?
Just stumbled across this video....is that XW283? Couldn't make out the last digit of the tail number. If it is, I used to take care of her in the late 80s at 658 Sqn AAC
Great video Matthew. I certified this Scout after its arrival in NZ. Was in Wanaka at the time. If the 2nd one shown is HVD then I had a hand in that one as well. Hope they are still flying.
Music ruins this kind of video. It's your taste, not everyone's else's. Downvoted.

Nice video, thanks from a Alaska helicopter mechanic.
I came here because of the Kamov but I must admit I like the dancing shovel too!!
How great would it be to relive this experience matty
I'm not one for music in videos like this but put a great song in it and I guess I'll look the other way...just this once 😉
If you ran an 090 all day…you’re a man!
Must be because of the “hemisphere”… Their undercuts upside down…???
If it moves shoot it if it don't shoot it
Every one but a few missed out on the 64 skarecrane &61 the Boeing 107 bell 214 17th. 9th 7th pound turn. That's loggin
Have to be a little crazy to log in short shorts! Good on em!
Mean vid. These days will never happen again! She's fucked now with the PC World we live in!
This one still have the huge radome at the front, probably an ex navy helicopter.
Logging in nut huggers. Don't see that everyday?
How much can it lift?
Kris Maitland 1ton
The state bird of New Zealand is the helicopter
Les images vidéos sont très belles, mais la musique est de trop !
Kiwis logging wearing short pants.. that is so awesome
Almost forgot the Wessex sound - great video - would love to share it.
Doesn't seem cost effective
davetileguy rimu is big $$$ and milling it in the bush were it dose not coast any thing and only the good finished product was flown out and in a short period of time it was very cost effective these blocks are very remote
The only good tree is a stump
This native logging is as bad as dumping 1080
Brian August if you’re a tee hugging sort of person. I’m against 1080 and this is not anything like it
Brian is a snowflake
Da fuk is 1080?
Log pine trees
Bloody awesome

Go troll elsewhere mate

I watch UA-cam all the time and don't always like the music but just simply turn volume down instead of commenting on how bad it sounds
Maybe you need to grow a thicker skin then. It's a common and valid complaint, nothing personal against you.
Heathen!! Your music destroys what could've been a cracking video
and the other one is xv129

Adam Gardner hi Adam it is xw282
@@adamgardner8721 XW283 was the 1st Scout I crewed on as an Airgunner/Navigator - Pilot Maj Lawrence 658 Sqn, Feb 7th 1989.
@@mikenash4216 I was there then as a new Ac Tech. Definitely worked on it in your time, with Maj Lawrence as OC Sqn
@@adamgardner8721 Thanks for keeping me safe! 🤣👍 Great aircraft, great Sqn.
