I have, through the infinite blessings of God, found a nice income. All around me I feel like I’m constantly reminded about how much better I have it than everyone else. Almost like I don’t deserve it. I feel shame and guilt and worry and anxiety over my income. I know it may be substantial now, but I’m worried I soon might be let go. I am in poor health and I worry it could affect my ability to make money in the future. I understand and agree with teachers and other public servants getting paid more. It just seems like all this criticism is misplaced when you have people like Elon Musk worth $200B when I don’t even make anywhere near that

This is the absolute worst advice I have ever seen in my entire life. You are right to say that "something that is considered normal can quickly become toxic" our culture has normalized getting lap dances from naked women the day before your wedding. I'm really unsure how anyone can justify that. Please find Jesus sir.

Had a roommate start smoking meth in the house around her dog. Sweet girl. It was what it was. It's all trauma so I tend to be very forgiving. Any time I would bring it up to my sister(her friend) I was now the enemy for being able to even say something so negative. Same with my mother. It was very strange. They would use positivity, spirituality, high emotion to shame me for being able to speak negative about someone when I was just observing what was going on. Like it is what it is. No bad no good, it just is so they'd add such more meaning to it. I am starting to see these people as incredible dangers to youth, learning, growth, and society.

My dad, who is a millionaire used to say. There are always gonna be people who have more money than you always gonna be People who have less and your job is to be bothered by neither... Now that i'm wealthy myself I understand this. The only time I think about broke people is when i'm strategizing how NOT to become one of them AGAIN! I have zero use for them. These are facts. I could care less what others think & i feel no guilt! Most people who are not successful in life have only themselves to blame.

@richardhernandez5808 I didn't mean it that way. I am responsible for my employees and I care for my family. You do have responsibilities to people in this life. Just not those "poor me" folks with a victim mentality who is not doing anything for themselves. That's who you avoid.

Woah... this makes me feel shame for you. My mom is deaf... she tried SOOO hard to get a job, they wouldn't hire her. I'm glad you don't feel guilt but don't fucking blame others for their downfall or ability not to be a dumbass "millionaire" yes I am calling you a dumbass because this is not what not feeling guilty should be shown in your life.. I feel guilty over the fact that my mom tells me every day that she regrets being alive, and deaf... that she feels alone.. that she doesn't have enough money to get her own medication. I came here so I can work on my guilt but also work on solutions to make it better for others around me. Sounds like you just are a person that leaves a life full of.. "wow not my problem" why you even here? I don't mind if you respond rudely.Because I was rude to you and I assumed things about you (as the interent people do) but I think it's ridiculous that your guilt has turned into just blaming everyone else instead of holding yourself to a more understanding level.. bruh
