Hi! My name Kirsten Hazler. For now, most of the videos on this channel will be instructional videos for students in a college level, introductory GIS class.
A bit about me: I have an M.S. from North Carolina State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. I worked as a landscape ecologist / GIS Analyst for the Virginia Natural Heritage Program for 16 years. Now I'm an independent landscape ecologist and geospatial analyst, as well as an independent songwriter/musician (@hazyshadeproductions). I work part-time as an adjunct professor at Randolph-Macon College, and have done contract work for NatureServe.
