McDaniel and Grier are a huge problem and both need to go. It's not Skylar's fault he stinks. They wouldn't bring in a decent backup QB because they were afraid of hurting Tua's feelings and now he is out maybe forever. Flores looked like Shula compared to McDaniel.

nah bro. Grier is the problem. You don't pay 2 receivers a combined 60m a year and a QB 53m a year without having a decent offensive line to protect that investment, especially with the trash ass back up qbs you kept on the roster. I will say McDaniel needs to stop being the play caller. He is an amazing play DESIGNER but the past 2 years has shown he is horrible at play calling. Give that job to someone else let McDaniel worry about coachingup the QB's and worrying about the team as a whole and shit should be fine.

So true, this is on McDaniel 100%. Since the Jets game last season, our offense hasn't put more than 20 points and that is because defenses already know how to defend against Hill and Waddle, so the surprise is out. And McDaniel keep trying to send plays to those 2 that now are even double covered. He never develop plays for other players, not even Jonu Smith. When we bring new players is either to block or to run as decoy so Waddle and Hill will not be doubled covered. He will only develop plays for fast guys, like Achane. Plus the guy is a terrible play caller. Time for the McDaniel experiment to end. He already showed us that he will not change anything.

All teams average about the same number of offensive plays per game. It all comes down to execution in all phases of the game. Football is a team sport that takes everyone to win games.
