Thanks Rick! This stuff is fun to fix up, eh! Have you seen what Cordova Powersports has done with 120" to 129" conversions & a Timbersled conversion to a 156" with 3 1/4" paddles? When you say not to do all the graphics stuff, you must mean the big wrap graphics...I think it's a bit overkill also, but it can look good too. Praise God & keep rockin' in the free world!!

Thank you, Doug! I haven't tried a Yeti but I would really love to. They are the lightest & that's gotta make them best for jumping & I'd even like to try their narrow model FR129 because we have a lot of variable conditions & usually pretty good traction here in coastal Alaska & I think the narrow/light track with smaller paddles would be the best jumping kit out there. Look at Matechuk, he makes that thing look feather-light! No, I wish I was in BC. We haven't even ridden this year yet & it's not happening any time soon. All Yehovah's best, brother!

Haha! Yeah, it's kind of crazy expensive to save a small amount of weight. 4lbs is a horsepower, if you lost 50lbs that'd be +12.5 horsepower!!

Well thank you Larry! That's awesome you've been riding for so long there in "the greatest snow on earth"! Yeah, being out in God's pure nature should really bring us closer to Him. I believe that's what happened in my life of snowboarding before I actually knew Him. Famous snowboarder Jim Rippey actually got saved on the top of a mountain by himself just looking out at God's Creation! I've skied and snowboarded some of the places there around Salt Lake, & then I actually learned to snowboard in the south when I lived in St. George. Great backcountry in Utah! All Yehovah's best.

You actually have to go through better snow to get here, but if it's cold & snowy it could be worth it. But, unfortunately, I can't ride with sledders, it's against my religion. Just kidding ;) haha! I've looked into them before but I need to again. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm still trying to figure out the best tie-down situation, I like to keep from compressing the suspension if I can.

⁠@@FaithandActiondotnet They do compress the suspension some. They are somewhat adjustable though depending on how far you spread the two chains on each binder. I do like that they are very low profile. In a smaller trailer like yours, I think you'd like not stepping around straps.

Thx! I think I've seen those, they clamp down on the pegs right? I use a 2x6 brace under the track to keep it off the lugs & then with a strap & also being held up by the strap to the frame it keeps the suspension from being compressed & connected in 2 points in the rear + the front tie downs...should be fine but a lot of strapping. How much was the insulated trailer? And do you have to fit your bike in diagonally with only 10' or do you have a 120" or something?

@ yup straps on the pegs. It is a v-nose, so it is 12 feet inside so just fits straight in with about 6 inches to spare. I actually paid 15k, but has coin floor, lithium battery, LED lighting. Spoiler with loading lights, off road tires, spare, E track, roof vent, and two windows. I am putting an inverter and solar in myself currently. Paid more than I wanted, but will be a good off road trailer 😀

It should be pretty ideal. If you're in the lower 48 you can probably find good options for a good deal!

Thanks Ryan! This is Cordova, so the next town down from Valdez. CO should have good snow though? Our terrain is pretty amazing though for sure! But we're a small remote town & it's illegal to sled, only snowbiking! 😁

@ So dope looks killer! . I haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet but this year hopefully. They look fun. The snow here is typically more on the unstable side. Gotta really respect aspect ratios. We loose a lot of people every year. People really have a disregard for AVY safety here in my opinion, it’s ridiculous. Spring time is when it gets really fun if you have access. Has Cordova always been Snow bikes only? That’s insane but lucky for you, that’s forsure. I’d be bummed out if I had a sled in that area and was unable able to enjoy all that terrain. Looks so epic end endless!
