I too love the S197. It’s the perfect blend of the old school analog driving experience with the perfect amount of refinement vs previous generations. Full bolt ons, gears and tune makes it a formidable machine.

I have 2 05’s that I bought new and ordered both first I bought the GT, and second was a Saleen convertible. Both are great cars

My 09 GT is my prized possession! Traveled from Chicago to Detroit to pick it up a few years ago. Love at first sight when I saw it for the first time in person! I know I’m not the baddest on the road but I put my HEART and SOUL into working on it and driving it. Needs a lot of work still but that’s what makes the journey fun and something to always look forward to and motivate you. That’s why I love my Mustang.

I’m considering a 330i and your video gave me a good perspective on what I should expect from the car. I don’t need a rocket but it’d be nice to have a car that can get out of its own way and make driving fun. The 330i seems like it’d do that.

I had an 07 GT that I bought new in 2008. Even super charged I was still losing races to lightly modded 350zs and WRXs. Put more than 100k miles on it before I sold it. Even tho these years were super clunky and slow it still was a great car and a lot of fun to drive. Really had that retro feel and I was able to make it sound really good! Mine was all red and I put white stripes on it and I had the same GT wheels as you.

Spend the money. Don't get the base model.

great video bro! youre pretty underrated! i'd mix your voice a little louder in the edit as on my speakers the music was a lil too loud but loved the edit otherwise im looking at trading my 3rd gen acura tl or selling it to get a high mileage v6 mustang. might be a mistake for a daily car (timing chain would be so fun ;p ) but i dont mind the maintanance and work i'll have to put it, it'll be much more worthwhile to me to work on a mustang personally as much as i love the acura i'm just that typa guy. wish i had 11k when i was 19 though or now even 😳

Shout out to Vehicular DIY. The b48 is definitely a beast of a little engine. I highly recommend you get a JB4 unit. Think of it as OEM+. I removed my JB4 the other day when I took my 230i in for service and it was painfully obvious how much slower my car felt. With my JB4 on my B48 I’ve smoked a Civic type R, Challanger RT, and 5.7l Trans am. It makes quite a bit of a difference. I could almost keep up with a 392 and 5.0. Out my JB4 back in just now and it definitely made my BMW noticeably quicker. You are likely like me, I got a 2023 also. JB4 is undetectable so as long as the dealership doesn’t see it under the hood then they can’t prove you’ve increased your performance. Look into it, you won’t be disappointed. 😉

I have an 06 GT I custom ordered when I bought it new. This generation Mustang was the one that restarted it all. A real car that is admittedly basic but stylish and powerful enough. It is an everyman's car that's yet somewhat affordable.

Great video/car! Hard intro and vid length with the content shown. The dark night shots may be a bit too dark and the car loses its detail, just becomes about the head/tail lights. Looking forward to seeing what comes next from the channel
