Great video. A one to avoid then. When we first went to Fuertoventura a number of years ago, we stayed in Caleta Gardens. This reminds me of where you have stayed. A hell hole. After seeing the Barcelo bungalows on our first visit, this is where we stay now. Looking forward to going for our 4th visit in 7 weeks time. In our experience you get what you pay for.

🤔Any electronic devices have a time limitation if you either delay or not sure of your pin, a password etc, it will either deny you access, service or take your card inside the machine. This explanation is to do with a bank card I had such experience before at NBC bank Shangani stone town then I went in to explain eventually I got my bank card back

An outside ATM or cash machines can easily go wrong for different reasons, and it happens all over the world, not just in Zanzibar, to be fair. I would advise that, if possible, use inside the bank ATMs to withdraw your money, its better that way not just on Zanzibar but every where in the world

Im from Zanzibar live in Germany, contact your bank when you return they will reverse the transaction. Next time use ATM that is in the bank building as they can solve it instantly some times the AtM are just empty that is the main reason.

Use an ATM inside a bank, this way you can report it right away. Been in TZ a few times and found that to be the best way.

Follow these tips Don't pay first before you reach your destination. Behave as you know the City and the Country in General, I mean don't tell them that you're new in the country. Don't go Gang Zone. I live in Arusha.

Sadly, unless a GOOD Politician or a Foreigner buys the school , it will eventually become a ruin. The new rules says that schools cant be bought and converted into a house or hotel. It can only be a school, unless it was already owned by a private person.. This is really sad . The Government needs to change the rules to encourage both foreigners and Bulgarians to invest in the country, which now has the fastest declining population in the world. . I have a friend who bought an old abandoned school in Popovo and is spending a LOT of money to renovate it. I know of another old school in Oryahovo that is already falling down. The roof has already collapsed.I really feel your pain my friend. Maybe you can organise an event and ask your old friends to come and cut the grass and ask the mayor if the building can be used for something ?

I booked with this same complex and had exactly the same problem. would not recommend it to my worsted enemy.

There is a book in Spain in hotels, apartments, restaurants, etc, at least before at the time I lived in Spain. The book is named "Libro de reclamaciones". Clients can ask for that book to write their complains there. I have seen a person doing that for years ago and the manager turned instantly to be the world's best and "snällaste" manager.
