You know, you might think you’re doing something great, but this is not good for the country. Tourism is good, yes, but not everyone wants the best for the local people. Comments from tourists that go to Sal range from “be aware of children pestering you” to “the smell is not so pleasant” (referring to the local workers), and so many other negative comments. I really wish that the ones who think about investing in our African countries would have the decency of thinking about improving the quality of life for the people, and not only looking at their own profits. Prices rising and everything becoming unaffordable for locals is just not good. This is happening in Portugal and is really sad. 😢
