That is a bull frog making that noise in the background at 42:45 He's so loud, I don't know how the chicks got any sleep at night. My wife and I could hear him from our bedroom. I went down there looking for him, but every time I got close - he would be quiet.

So I guess thats it then? Have the bluebirds given up on your birdhouse because of the sparrow? Haven’t seen any videos for a couple weeks so I’m guessing there is no action there.

I noticed today that I had 4 or 5 eggs in 1 of my bluebird houses.House last year produced 3 broods.Should have sum babies in a week or so.March 23,2023 in east central Arkansas

A male and female house sparrow. I think he wanted to mate but she didn't.

Sparrows can kill bluebirds in the nestbox. So dangerous. Take care in this days. You can film a sad fight between this two birds. The sparrow are more strong with the bill and can kill bluebirds.

You should upload that quick chirp at 3:30 to Xeno-Canto! I have never heard a bluebird make that sound before.

On a side note. Put some wood shavings in the bottom. The birds like it and it gives them a head start on the nest material

If the House Sparrow starts putting nesting material in there, you must remove asap. I was looking at your previous videos and seeing were allowing the HOSP to build 🚫😬 If the Bluebirds start building a nest and lay an egg, please put up a sparrow spooker asap! Otherwise your Blues are in danger and the HOSP will kill them. Good luck! 💙
