I'm terribly sorry what happened to you. My father was on tram 2554 which was the tram before 2551 that you were on. For years I was like you and didn't get on a tram for atleast 4 years. Later my dad and I decided to go to Therapia Lane depot and look at the changes they did. I'm satisfied that they made huge changes to the systems and safety. However, I think it's ridiculous and passengers were lucky for 16 years to go over the curve safely and we should NEVER compromise safety. I'm with you on this one it's DISGUSTING that the tram company made no Safe systems, and how there was a similar incident just 10 days before the crash but they did NOTHING. IT'S DISGUSTING! That's what kills me the most. It's was bound to happen soon. You should be proud to have the courage to go back on a tram

Thank you for Enspireing Me to Show off My Battle Scar Not from being An Amputee person but from Skin Cancer I had A Huge Hole left after The removal of a Large Tumour in my Left Calf You Could have fit a Pint Glass in it and it was an inch deep this was June 2018 and I have kept it hidden away from Everyone but Seeing what you have been through inspired me to Show off My Battle Scar it's still Big enough to Shock people Even My Neighbours and Friends hadn't seen it until a few weeks ago after Seeing your Story Thank You So Much for giving me the Courage to Show off my Legs Once Again x

The discussion you and Neil raised about the post amputation rehabilitation, I volunteer with a charity called Limb Power and this discussion comes up so often about the post code lottery of limb centres and aftercare. I was fortunate to go to SACM which is specific nhs rehabilitation centre. Which has consultants, skin/wound care, physiotherapy (&gym), counsellor, prosthetics, orthotics and wheelchair services all under one roof. So after my amputation I was back at the centre after 7 days straight into physio and starting the prosthetic fitting process. I know this doesn’t happen with other centres which is such a huge shame. Thankfully the different charities and nhs centres are pushing for better standardised services across the whole of the UK but annoyingly this takes time and a lot of pushing. This post will also really help as its telling the truth of the different standards of services which needs to be heard and how the rehabilitation process really is not just the physical but the mental. Loved you both talking about how brilliant amputee community is. It’s so supportive and has the best sense of humour. 🤗🦾🦿🤗

Only just found your channel and I’m loving your content. Absolutely love how both talked so real about the ups and downs of your recoveries. I’m also a fellow amputee (LAK) so fully understand you opting for Osseo with limb fluctuations as I have to wear an adjustable socket as my residual changes so much throughout the day.
