These would be perfect for Off grid Solar Panel application as a winter heater. Unit would need a voltage regulator to protect the fan as solar panels have a wide voltage range. Product would come with a recommended PV ( Solar Panel ) size to run the Unit at maximum Power ( Perfect sunlight to to Panel production). Dc to DC being the most efficient transfer of power in off grid application makes sense. Keeping the unit simple with a power on/off switch, DC breaker ( air breaker ) and LED on / off Light . All wiring must be copper and not Aluminum copper clad as it requires Higher amp transfer. Units would be sold in 12 volt / 24 volt or 48 volt Options to cover most common voltage ranges. Instruction manual would give Solar panel voltage range tolerances ( VOC and Amps ). Instruction manual would send user to Manufacture recommended Product installation video. Video and Manual would show proper fire hazard distances from flammable objects. Product would need basic certifications to pass international shipping. Product name would be Marketable to the Off grid Community. "Cosmos Heater" "Star Light Heater" "Sunergy" <- I like the last one as it is a play on words of Sun and Energy. Slogan " Heat with the Power of the Sun" Smaller subtitle " Reduce Heating costs and save Money with simple DC to DC Solar Power." We would love to see something like this on the market. All we can find are heater hacks on you tube to make this possible <- This is not safe.
