@comrade_zlolok but u have to look at the rules of the engagement because even an a-4 can match an f-22 with rules to restrain it And from the photos the eurofighter used by the Qatar looks like the interceptor variant of the tranche 1 wich is literally the first model of the eurofighter to enter service The j-10 is an incredibile dogfighter so it wouldn’t be a surprise if it could beat an interceptor variant of the tranche 1

cant wait to see how much different ef2000 will be on live server. So it might get a buff idk ofc we gonna have to wait and see

Depends on the time of recording, yesterday they nerved the Eurofighters aftrerburning power by about 15-20%. This makes it loose insanely more speed in turns than on day 1 of the dev server. + If you drag race the Eurofighter now (min fuel + no weapons) it is now ~10% slower than an F-15E

Well yes, using full real controls is like unlocking the full potential of your airframe. Quite literally once u go full real u can pull more AoA right away

@comrade_zlol yes but, i fight endless PC and controller players (I myself being PS5 and on controller) and they will spam full real and they still lose, Gods honest truth spamming full real is pretty damn skilless and makes you look like an asshole (not personally attacking you or anyone but its just my view on it) and 99/100 times the full real player loses. It just better to be good at mouse aim then shit aim yk? Full real really out to be locked out of all games modes cept Sim.

this isn’t really a representation of anything other than pure maneuverability and pilot skill. nobody dogfights in actual game so i wouldn’t very worried about the j10 anyways

@ yea but I do duels with randoms and friends and the J-10 is an aircraft I have been wanting since it came out I’m just saying how I’m surprised it can actually keep up with an unfinished over performing typhoon

@@F-14-W Well duh, its a Eurofighter. It's probably THE most maneuverable jet without thrust vectoring.

unfortunately i think the dev is now closed. If the patch releases, ill surely do some more of those but ofc with that stats and performance of the live server!

I still got lots to learn and get used to stuff while dogfighting, having those 1v1s is actually one of the ways to learn and improve because dogfights in air rb are quite rare and when they happen they can often be disturbed by someone else from either team 3rd partying and ruining the fight

still performs pretty good actually. in my opinion its one of the better airframes for dogfights in wt rn

no gripen E in game because its a complete upgrade from the current ones we have in game, with improved engine, aesa radar, more hardpoints and better weaponry + IRST

i agree partially. i am not used to that cannon and it had incorrect values that only got fixed as of today 12th of december on dev. it had like 800ms velocity and 700 rpm while rn on dev it has 1000ms and 2500 rpm which makes way way easier to aim.

remember that gripen´s flight model is the pre nerf one in dev server and rafale got a change in its flight model in the second dev server so both are cracked there

well gripen has always been and will be a very good airframe for dogfights. i may be wrong but against the rafale the gripen can rate better but the rafale can get that extra aoa pull so the outcome of a fight really depends on the players id say. (just as with most vehicles it comes down to how YOU fly it and how your opponent flies too)

well, if u have dev server we can play together, i dont mind losing, i just wanna get better at dogfights xd.

hahahahhaha honestly current flight model feels very nice, its just that the cannon is lacking the real stats. gonna have to see how it will be in live, def looking forward to it and also waiting for j10b. I wish all french mains to pick wisely which one they want

@@kenoby2330 sooo, the Rafale beat the Gripen since it has highter Thrust and wing surface even if it's a little heavier, so the EF consequently beats the Rafale since it has highter Thrust to weight and bigger wing surface

well, as the description says, neither me nor the player im fighting are extreme sweats in war thunder. we were just casually playing and trying out things like rafale vs gripen
