My 2007 F150 doesnt have the blue tab on that end, mine hae a pink tab embedded into the end of it, im having trouble removing it since it is probably the original... any tips?

I believe on the 2004 on the drivers side is 3 bolts on the power steering reservoir. Lay it to the side and there is the VCT. That's all I removed on my '06. I believe 2004-2006 is the same. If you are attempting this please watch several other videos to make sure I am right. When the solenoid is off to the side of the rubber seal, you do not have to remove the valve cover or anything more than take the reservoir off the bracket and carefully put it to the side. That is for the drivers side. There is nothing to remove on the passenger side. Hope this helps someone. Jesus bless.

You don't need to take off the valve cover just to replace the VVT Solenoid. The screw for the VVT is a T27.

I was getting a "lean on bank 2" code. Guy at O'Reilly's auto said 80% could be fuel filter. Bought filter a bit over $20. Replaced fuel filter. I bought the fuel filter tool as well. 20 minute job. 10 minutes of it was letting the gas drain from the filter. Need to keep fuel.line up or it will constantly leak. I cleared the codes (disconnect negative batt term) and np.more.lean code !!!! Sludge seeped out of fuel tank side.of filter. It was almost blocked causing lean code.

What yr is it?

If I have a bad VCT on my 2007 5.4, will it cause to shake slightly at a complete stop/park? I also have loss of power. Scanner says timing is off by a tooth or more but I have no severe issues or loud noises coming from the engine.
