Hi mate ! Really good content ! For the boarding shuttles, you want to damage as much as possible the enemy ships (Lowering their shields is already a good way to improve your chances, but destroy 25% of the enemy hard points at least before activating the boarding ability)

Played this one a few times. The Nee Republic can research some of their new ships but not all. Should probably turn on cruel because it’s quite easy to cut all major shipyards from them

More like Dork Empire, gottem. Also, while I totally understand why from a balance perspective, taking starting SSDs out irons out a bit of the wild fun imo. Especially for poor Warlord Zsinj, it always seemed like most of the reason to ever pick him was 'haha, funny fat man with a starting Executor for absurd early rushes'. It is really hard to balance them, though. I sort of admired the Awakening of the Rebellion approach of just making Executors completely unable to retreat, which combined with persistent damage from Thrawn's Revenge could allow smaller forces to whittle one down, but even then they're busted.

Just when it looked like you were well into the mop-up phase, the Empire has the decency to "somehow" muster up some big fleets. From events, sure, but it does keep the New Republic on their toes despite massive territorial gains. Here's to Rogue Squadron and their heroic sacrifice to save Corellia from the World Devastators, sorry guys but especially with Wedge away to command the Lusankya, the rest of you are firmly in what we'll call 'mauve shirt' territory. Your books were cool, thanks for your service, etc.

Well I was not expecting Captain Panaka, or rather Moff Panaka now. With the Senate dissolved, dude was essentially in the same position as Palpatine once was, lording over his home sector. Talk about a prestigious position that probably got him a lot of Imperial adoration (and jealousy). What a great example of how chilling it can be to see a character be 'too loyal', like Admiral Yularen, who does the narration for the Clone Wars and is generally tagged as one of the 'heroic good guys', and then... we see him straight on through to Andor and A New Hope, winding up as a freaking ISB big-whig. While Tarkin was always a monster ever since he was a Republic captain, the ostensibly good men who serve the Empire challenge us.

Clone Wars versus Imperial Civil War, both are cool. I think it's easier for modern fans to wish for more of that old Legends goodness... because many of us weren't active back when tons of material *was* coming out for it, not all of it good. The Expanded Universe was a mess, although some of that mess was glorious, a very peaks-and-valleys deal. Whereas the Clone Wars now under Disney, to paraphrase Lucas, 'doesn't go as high as [Legends], but it stays'. Those clones are kind of being strip-mined by the Mouse for content... and we love it. Of course that's a testament to George and the other creatives behind the Prequels, to build a world people *still* want more of as we pass the Phantom Menace's 25 year anniversary. "Dorja has been defeated. No clue who Dorja is... but my condolences" has powerful "i ain't reading all that. im happy for you tho, or sorry that happened" energy. Also, seamless editing with the message from Luke about founding a new Jedi Academy. Tbh there really should just be a message log somewhere for anyone that's not a speed reader.

On the bridge stalemate: Those Hailfire droids came in and routed the few surviving troops there. They really saved you, I am also surprised the AI didn't flank you on the other side about a minute earlier because they were pushing some tanks in that direction.

This was a fun series. Looking forward to the Empire one next!

For ground battles the CSA's hellfire droids and those striker gunships work particularly well for me at least.

This is Captain Cron Threb, Commanding officer of the Tector Star Destroyer, the Resurgence II, reporting in with the final Officer's Report. The Fleet from Levian Two moved onto Contruum to take on the New Republic remnant fleet stationed there. Along with the traitor Adar tallon. the took out the fleet and Tallon's ship, the traitor. the ground army was able to take the planet and with casualties, but with one Planet left, the army is being aggressive. that same fleet wth the addition of the 15th deep core fleet then went to Brentaal IV, lucky bastards. they lost a lot of ships though, so... not so lucky. but then the ground army landed and lost a lot of units thanks to the garrison, but we not control this part of the galaxy

This is Captain Cron Threb, Commanding officer of the Tector Star Destroyer, the Resurgence II, reporting in with another Officer's Report. Have been given command of a new ship I named her after my old ship. Our leader, Grand Moff Ardius Kaine arrived with his Super Star Destroyer, the Reaper. He led my ship and the others towards Champala to fight against the Republic. there was a Golan-II and a Golan-I waiting with the New Republic fleet commanded by Admiral Kalback, the old, Distal Pod Cousin of the infamous Admiral Ackbar and his MC80 Justice Carrier Pattern, Justice. I heard he was expecting to retire soon. oh he was gonna retire, retire from life. We now control the space over Champala. The army arrived and landed and I may have "accidentally" dropped an orbital bombardment on our own men. a Fleet of ours attacked the New Republic at Levian Two. The army took the planet while taking heavy losses, HA! We then headed to Farrfin, where a prototype ship was stationed, the Viscount I believe it's called. Anyway, Kaine led the charge and the fleet was able to take down all the Republic's ships and stations. The army also took the planet at low casualties to them this time, shocker. that leaves Contruum and Brentaal IV left in New Republic hands. Ackbar is waiting for us, and we will be there to destroy him,
