Dirty black fingermarks on doors, drawers, the loo, anything light of white the may of been touch. Balls or folder up bits of foil around. Erratic sleeping hours. Bouts of productivity followed by periods of depression and laying in bed. The eyes are the best one though. Long shirts in hot weather if someone is banging it up.

The best way I can describe it is feeling like your blood is poisonous to your body, along with everything else. Nearly a year now since I last. The unfortunate thing with my addiction was that I had plenty of money as I was dealing at the same time so could afford to create a massive habit. I could go through An 8th a day sometimes. I 100% would rather die than go through what I went through, I was also going through pregablin withdrawal at the same time which adds a whole othe lever to it. Fuck that life and fuck that shit. I have had make it through. It is the worst thing ever. Exactly like the guys prescribe. I am very scared... i try to reduce the dosis of methadone but now and again i travel 1000 km to go and get it. One small part of me still WANTS IT. 😢 I do not know how it is going to end but i am not doing it alone and suddenly again. I would rather die. When, when, have i had enough of this shitty addiction? I wake up every morning worrying about it.

Does this withdrawal occur every time after using, or is it something that happens after you have been using for several days/weeks and then abruptly stop? Sounds like a nightmare. Also, how long does that withdrawal period last? That feeling of wanting to crawl out of your skin and feeling hot, sweaty, and cold along with vomiting…. Sounds like a method of actual torture. After hearing this, I find it difficult to fathom that heroin is so widely used.

A good example about the pin point pupils is if the user has colored eyes like green & blue, since the pupils are so tiny their eyes will appear extremely blue, green, etc…

3:11 the Irritability is one many people don't talk about enough. Opiates always made me really cranky, and odd enough made me want to be alone when I was high. I felt like people were disrupting my high when I was around them and I didn't necessarily like talking to people despite feeling really good and happy. Opiates are much harder to spot than alcohol, or benzos, or coke, adderall, meth, etc. Especially if the person has a high tolerance and needs dope or pills to function, sadly nowadays its all fentanyl people are doing mixed with God knows what, glad I got out of the game before fent started taking over. Nowadays I just take kratom, kava and smoke bud.

I numb my self with marijuana. Smoked it till I am stoned.

I was in 5th grade when some professionals came to my school to talk to us about the dangers of drugs. The description of heroin withdrawal scared me so bad. I was never going to do drugs anyway, but holy shit did that freak me out.

the weaker your mind is the harder it is to tell when you have a problem. i used morphine and oxy for 9 years and i was able to tell i was fucked up. im pretty clear about that disease it almost killed me. sober now 6 years and feeling and looking much better and i do see it in the mirror. much easier to see when im slipping now. opiates make you apathetic to the point you don't even care about your own demise as its happening. get help you're not going to make it alone if you can't stop.

My son died of overdose heroine while his girlfriend watch him died.Im devastated he died 8/24/2021

Please please if you REALLY want to help others... Advice as MANY MANY people (online/offline/in person/schools kids/even kindergarten kids, etc). ... On the miseries of de-addiction 🙏🙏🙏🙏 prevention is better than cure! Ask them to take a SOLID oath on "Just saying NO" ... Educate them on the exact """"""tactics""""" used by your drug addict friends who got you into their nasty game!!!! Tell them how to identify such friends and how to avoid them like corona virus.... how not to feel ashamed to say NO or feel guilty to loose such DARK friendships.. lastly how to develop good habits like yoga, exercise, learning music, singing, volunteering, praying, spirituality, painting, martial arts, swimming, etc ANYTHING to keep them busy and occupied with healthy/fun habits and healthy friendships 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

It's really hard to put into words what it's like to go through a severe withdrawal.. of course there is cravings but also the feeling where you just can't get comfortable in your body and your either sweating and then a minute later you're freezing cold.. You're dealing with terrible nausea and diarrhea.. headache your body aches all over you don't even have the energy to stand up.. just going to the bathroom is exhausting it's a million times worse than a bad flu.. and that's just what's going on with your body.. and the mental side effect as you're in a deep dark depression you feel like you're never going to be able to crawl out of it.. Plus your emotions are all over the place you will cry out in agony and pain cuz you feel like your body is just giving up on you.. and so much countless other things.. like I was saying it's hard to put into words how utterly awful it is. I wouldn't wish that in anybody,..So Anyone dealing with it right now.. I'm so sorry and it's going to suck for what feels like forever but I promise you'll going to start feeling better soon.. just take it hour by hour a day by day.. ❤️🙏🙏❤️

Pretty impossible to tell if someones pupils are pinned when they have brown eyes. People with light eyes have a much harder time hiding drug abuse when it comes to their pupils.

I have a buddy going through this addiction and yeah the symptoms are very true. In his head he thinks hes okay and acting fine. Its a very weird drug and a terrible one ive tried it a few times but seeing how this effects people i do not want to go near it.

My neighbor just passed due to a heroin od in my living room floor playing with the kids, he was a good guy and we had no idea he was in heroin he had a really raspy voice, smoked like 10 cigs in a row, and he would always help us doing yard work and building our shed etc. I wish I knew before but he was in rehab and he came home for thanksgiving and his problem got worse and we didn’t know.

I am real tired of being accusing nor blame ,whenever my dearest does that on me . I really want try my best to help him which ever way ,just to be sure that he could feel I really do love n care about his health but I always fails . We quite often quarrel n makes the relationship which we had for years .
