6:13 Chuck flips off the audience on "It was straight up twelve!" Hah He fixed it pretty quickly and had a little smirk on his face for a sec there. Pro.

The Master! I don't know what happened to the censors, but this is NOT the lyrics showing in Google! Love it 'cause it's the original. Chuck was the beats master! Reeling and Rocking till the Break of Dawn! Yes sir!

Rockin' Horse, best ever group to back Chuck. Billy Kinsley bass. Jimmy Campbell rhythm, John Snow piano.

The REAL King of Rock & Roll. Chuck influenced everybody. There would be no Stones, Crows, or thousands of other bands who followed in his duck walk path.

First concert I ever saw was Chuck Berry.. MC5 and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels opened for him... I saw Chuck three times before he passed away... He was notorious for not rehearsing with the bands he had backing him... They either knew his music or they didn't... And how good the backup band was determined how much they got paid... He was also notorious for not giving a damn about his tuning... And he always got paid cash

His voice is very powerful and is even better than the 1950s in these later live recordings. Raw power in his voice!

In 1977 the unmanned space explorer Voyager 1 began it's exploration of space. On board the spacecraft is a record pressed in gold of Chuck Berry playing and singing Johnny B Goode. I've always hoped that first contact will be an alien life form listening to those lyrics about a poor boy of slave stock playing a guitar. The greatest of many gifts the USA has given the world, the greatest has been given by the slaves of the cotton fields in the form of the 12 bar Blues/ rock

He was a great guitarist but had a creepy side to him. Remember when he got caught filming the women who were using his restrooms at his Missouri based restaurant in early 1990. The camera was hidden but one of the chicks found it. .He was found possessing footage of over one hundred women in various stages of undress. The horny dog.

Always loved Chuck Berry. The artists that followed him have to thank him. They wouldn't have made it if not for him.
