Welcome to my channel! If you are anything like me, you enjoy having a really good drink. You might even be addicted to coffee and tea. My goal on this channel is to provide you with video recipes to some of my favorite drinks that I've learned how to make over the years. Cheers!
Pineapple Earl Grey | The Drink For Your Next Summer Party
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I’ve never been the biggest fan of earl grey tea by itself. There's just something about the intense bergamot flavor that doesn’t sit quite right with me. But recently, while browsing online for new teas to try, I stumbled upon an intriguing blend called "tropical earl grey." Instantly, my imagination took flight. The idea of blending the natural sweetness of tropical fruits with the citrusy notes of earl grey sounded promising. And since I had some pineapples at home, I decided to give it a try. The process was simple. I just made an earl grey concentrate, diluted it with water, and mixed it with a sweet pineapple puree. After taking my first sip, I was pleasantly surprised. It was really good. The flavors came together so well, so much so that I decided to make this drink for an event that was coming up. It turned out to be a real crowd-pleaser and so I want to share this recipe with you all as a beverage you could bring to your next summer party. I hope you enjoy!
► Earl Grey Concentrate Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup earl grey tea leaves (www.tkqlhce.com/click-101191905-11553097?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.adagio.com%2Fblack%2Fearl_grey_supreme.html)
- 3 cups hot water
- 2 cups ice (can use cold water but ice just helps it cool faster)
► Earl Grey Concentrate Directions:
1. Add the earl grey into a bowl, then fill with hot water and allow it to steep for 10-12 minutes.
2. Add some ice into a separate bowl (where you will strain the tea once it's done steeping).
3. Strain the tea over the ice and then allow it to fully cool before using. You can keep it in the fridge for up to 1 week.
► Pineapple Puree Ingredients:
- 1 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)
- 3/4 cup sugar (amzn.to/3UYanpu)
- 1 1/2 cup hot water
► Pineapple Puree Directions:
1. Add pineapple, sugar, and hot water in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Put in the fridge to allow it to cool. You can store this for up to 1 week in the fridge.
► Pineapple Earl Grey Ingredients:
- 1 part earl grey tea concentrate
- 1 part pineapple puree
- 1 part water
- Ice

How To Make Jasmine Milk Tea At Home From Scratch
Sharing one of my favorites today: Jasmine Milk Tea! If you haven't tried it, it's a refreshing beverage that combines the astringent, floral notes of jasmine green tea with the creamy richness of milk. Often, it's served with yummy toppings like boba, grass jelly, etc. In this video, I'll share my go-to recipe for jasmine milk tea-a method that's reliable, used by the best boba shops, and call...
Green? Thai Tea
About a decade ago, I walked into a boba shop and saw something surprising on the menu: "green" Thai tea. With Thai tea normally being orange, I was really curious and decided to give it a try. When I took my first sip, I was amazed. It tasted bright and fresh, different from any other Thai tea I'd had before. It had this unique flavor profile with notes that I couldn't quite pinpoint. After ta...
Apple Pie Matcha Latte [ASMR Recipe]
Lately, I've been following this trend where people mix fruit and sugar, allow it to mingle for a few days, and watch it transform into this amazing syrup that can be used in a variety of ways. With a few apples lying around in my kitchen, I had a light bulb moment: What if I tried this same concept with apples, but add some cinnamon along with the mix to make an apple pie type syrup that would...
Simple and Easy Hojicha Latte Recipe [ASMR]
You can find matcha in almost every good café, but have you tried its lesser-known cousin, Hojicha? Hojicha powder is made in a similar way to matcha - both are made by stone milling Japanese green tea leaves. However, the big difference is that before milling, Hojicha goes through a slow roasting process until it becomes fragrant. This roasting brings out a whole new set of flavors. Imagine nu...
Black Sesame Praline Latte Recipe [AMSR]
One of the most vivid recollections I have is of my grandmother making black sesame dumplings, or tangyuan, during festivals and family gatherings. The process was mesmerizing - watching her skillfully mix the ground sesame with sugar and roll it into small balls, which would later be enveloped in glutinous rice dough and cooked until they became soft and chewy. The moment when we bit into thes...
How to Make Oolong Milk Tea: A Simple and Delicious Recipe
Oolong milk tea is a rich, toasty, and floral drink that's super easy to make at home. This drink is made using a base of oolong tea, milk, and a sweetener of some kind. It tends to pair really well with additional toppings such as tapioca pearls, grass jelly, etc. Oolong milk teas are fun to drink since, like coffee, oolong teas are roasted and can range anywhere from a light roast (bright and...

My Favorite Milk Tea Recipe After 13 Years Of Making It
Looks so simple! And tastes so good.
Delicious
😅 ive gotten in the habit of getting one almost every day, might be well over 1k at this rate. Going to start making them at home because im picky but also saving $ is a huge plus.
The ability to customize and experiment at home is also a huge perk of making it at home! I love experimenting with good quality teas and seeing what I could do with them :)
Excellent🎉

as a thai tea lover, i HAVE to try this
Worst case scenario: you don't like it. Best case scenario: you fall in love with it. So yeah, give it a try :)
Yum
So are they adding purple dye in the ‘taro’ at the boba shops to make it look pretty?
Most boba shops use taro powder when making taro milk tea. Typically the manufacturers that make the powder add food coloring while processing it... so yeah it's definitely added color.
That’s what I thought. I guess it’s a good selling point, as it does make it look super tasty 😋 I appreciate your response. You have some really nice recipes on your channel.
@@Happynsnappy thanks! I'm looking forward to sharing more! Let me know what'd you like to see :)
Found u on subtle asian cooking! :)
Hi! I'm glad you did. I hope you enjoyed the video :)
Proceeds to put a tub of sugar
What else do you think I should put the apple syrup in?
Hell yea
Omgosh what a cute gem of a video did i stumble onto?! Aesthetic, minimal and straight to the point?! YESSSSS
Thanks
Thanks for the recipe
Thanks for watching :)
OOO i have to try this out!
Let me know what you think!
I tried following the instructions but somehow I ended up in lumby..
LOL only RS players will understand
I messed it up, there's a mason jar up my - actually im gonna head over to the ER
i have drank hojicha for the first time like an hour ago and now i see your recipe! Must be delicious with milk, im gonna try it definitely
It's like having coffee or matcha with milk compared to having it on its own. It becomes a completely different drink! Let me know how it goes and what you think :)
Great video and the recipe! Very helpful thank you!
Glad you got something out of it! :)
looks good but does it have a strong lavender flavor? I found out starbucks uses lavender powder which you can purchase online
Lavender buds are pretty strong, so a little goes a long way. If you prefer it to be on the stronger side, you could add more buds.
I love this channel asmr cookingggg
Wow looks amazing❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
black sesame and praline is such a good match !
It sure is!
That looks amazing
Give it a try! :)
I made this a few backs and it was dynamite! Who needs Starbucks when you can do it yourself?
Perfect❤❤❤😊😊😊
Does all of that ice water down the oolong flavor?
No - 10g of tea to about 300ml water (200 water/100 ice) is still pretty strong! If you tend to like your tea even stronger, you could increase the tea to water ratio to your liking 👍
Wow that looks really good! I’m going to try that tmr!
Let me know how it goes!
this is highly appreciated especially since boycotting starbucks <3 🍉 thank you! I bet it tastes even better than the store version!
how is this not viral?
Thanks for the comment! I started this channel recently so it's definitely in the "baby" stages.
Wish it was vegan, but fun to watch
You could achieve similar results using a barista quality oat milk for the cold foam!
@@bobaventures Thank you!
...just make it vegan?
Ohhh this looks absolutely yum! I never actually thought of using flower buds that way - Would it also work if I have rosebuds or dried osmanthus flowers?
Yes! Rose buds can be used to make rose lattes, rose milk teas, etc. You could also use the osmanthus in syrups to make iced osmanthus oolong/black teas. Typically a little goes a long way with flower buds, but feel free to experiment 👍
Wow I just found this channel, such high quality and underrated !!!
Thanks! Long story short, I want my little baby boy to have video recipes to some of dad's favorite/experimental drinks in the future... and if that could bring value to others along the way... then I'm all for it :)
Amazing recipe !!!
Try using a real vanilla syrup instead of regular syrup.
Do you think it really needs to steep for 20 minutes?
You can definitely get away with less time, but I tend to like the tea flavor being stronger with a longer steep time. You could potentially add a bit more tea leaves with a shorter steep time to achieve a similar result. Experiment and see what works for you 👍
I ask because I have seen the locals just pass it through the sock 5 times and that is indeed a shorter steeping time. I wondered if it could become too strong--or maybe there's no such thing. I will try your way next time and see what I think! Thanks! @@bobaventures
ive been steeping for 30 minutes after boiling with the OG thai tea mix but its incredibly weak flavored, so honestly steeping for long period of time is da way
@@yabs9642 you also don't have to use as much tea leaves which makes the wallet happy ;)
@@bobaventures is pantai stronger flavored than chatramue? might grab it to test the difference
很好!
i didn't know taro could make your skin itchy. i've cut and prepared Taro hundreds of times without getting itchy. pork spare ribs with Taro is what I usually make with fresh taro
Interesting. My hands definitely do and so does my family's. Maybe it's an allergy that we're unaware of.
That's a lethal amount of sugar!!! I'll try it, only with 10% of that sugar!
The amount of taro puree I made was enough to host a party. We ended up using it to bake bread and other things with.
okay but why would you add the sugar to the tea leaves before straining it when you can just add the sugar after straining?
It's just preference. The water is most hot at the beginning of steeping, so I find that the sugar dissolves better.
I’ll have to try your recipe. I lived in Thailand for 3 years, over 50 years ago. To this day I still miss a lot of their foods. I have learned to replicate different meals, thank goodness.
Nice ASMR 👍
