What area do you live in? I haven't seen anyone in my area do assembly of a structure this size for that kind of money. Even if you could that price couldn't be including the cost of sod cutter plus removing all debris. Plus the cost of landscape fabric the pins that hold it in place...What we dont see is building and installing a boarder and the bark to fill it. Im not gonna say you can't find somebody to do the assembly for that but in my opinion forking out the Cash the Skyfort 2 go's for you definitely want the Job done right! Most of us have gone with with the best deal we can find... Witch almost always has some kind of draw backs somewhere along the project or later down the road . Did you end up Pulling the Trigger?

No it is city water. And we could do that if we had a pre-filter for our hose. This is a solution if you don't have a filter for your hose :)

you shouldnt have that high of concentration of metals in city water to cause that much metals. Definitely would not drink that water for sure. Either way you should only use liquid chlorine in an above ground. Liquid will not oxidize metals. Neither will dichlor shock. But I would not suggest using granular in any form in a pool you care to keep and not faded. Pool guy here manage 87 pool route weekly with about 30 above grounds. We are in country. If your city has that much metals they definitely need inspected. We are well versed on metals as we have alot of pool on well. A prefilter are cheap on amazom just screw into water hose. And bioguard metal magnet is amazing as well. Part your problem as well is that lil pool filter. Water needs to turnover 1.5 times in summer. You need a hayward sand filter at min. To alleviate having to run it 24 7 non stop

Thanks for the info! That helps! That was definitely just city water and I know several other people who have pools on the same city water that also had these issues with metals. I do agree we need a better filter. During that time we didn't want to spend the money on a better filter. That is why we made this home made filter to clear it up and it worked pretty well. We didn't have our pool up this past summer because we were moving and it was too much to put up and then have to take right back down. But this coming summer next year I would like to put it up again and we will look into better filters and I will check sand filters. Thank you for the advice.

I believe I did a 22 ft x 17 ft rectangle and I was going to lay mulch down but the mulch attracted too many ants so we decided to just put grass back. Yes we did! It was funny! We put a reveal picture in a collage frame for Christmas and it took them a while before they realized that picture was in there! Lol
