Hope this helped you guys. Step 1 get a replacement FOB Step 2 go to dealer with your title or proof of ownership and get the Pin Code Both Old and New Pins. The dealer will know what your talking about Step 3 program that sucker Step 4 save money

Does the aluminum frame affect the sound quality?
I've ordered the non aluminium variant. In this video he has the aluminium variant. I'll let you know if there's a big sound difference.
I just received it and I can tell you that much: The aluminium variant has a distinct metal sound which my board (the normal frame) doesn't have.

I just got the mk808z. Will I be able to program a new key for a 2009 Tundra? I don't have the master only a valet. Will it work or do I need the master? Thanks!
Was hoping an answer was here. I have exact same truck and problem. Mine fails during remote registration. Time expires and fails.

@@cyrexccc I have this same scan tool I only own Honda and Acuras but I think that you should because valet key can start truck. I think Toyota has all keys lost as well.
No need to foam mod because the pro model has an engineered silicon mat. Your info about south facing LEDs letting more light through is false unless you have side lit keycaps. You almost can't see the lettering of standard ones.
I bought this thinking it would solve all my problems. I have the Q5, and after a few mods, I thought I could do the same to this keyboard. It ruined it. Even after I removed the tape and cleaned it, factory reset it, and took it to the local keyboard shop. Ruined. :(. It somehow lost the ability to connect to Bluetooth and kept switching off when I switched it to Mac mode from Windows. So now it's pretty much useless. Which is a shame. So I bought the Nuphy Halo 65. Maybe I was unlucky, but from my experience, I'm going to avoid Keychron unless it's like my Q5 and wired. Check out the Nuphy range. :)

No.. because it comes with a perfectly pre-made silicon mat.
Just need side lit keycaps really is about all you can do to this thing. It's unreal.

V2 is sorta outdated somewhat and needs the mods the pro already has. The pro has much nicer switches too.
Main difference is V2 needs mods, has gaterons and north facing LEDs and no VIA/QMK support. The pro is superior in build quality and design, keycap support aside but that will change in time

Sorry for late response but I had that issue as well but it seem to work though. However on my Honda accord I enter the second time from main menu to diagnostic instead of service then selected hot functions to get to IMMO keys. I just wanted to be sure.

they release firmware updates to cover most current cars. pretty sure it will work on 90% of cars

You need to call your local dealer and ask for it. All pin codes are different per car
@@MrJD240sx you still didn't explain what the pin code was? I didn't ask where you get it, I asked what it was? In this video you appear to have 2 pin codes, an old and a new one? No explanation given as to why you have 2 codes, only comment is that one didn't work.
@@kirwanjohn101 one pin code is for the new key and another is for the old pin code. For some manufactures you need the old and new one.
