Friend, there’s a lot going on in this comment. Yes, there is a real heaven, and a real hell, and real people are going there. The meaning is the number 144,000 in revelations is HIGHLY debatable. If you think you fully understand what’s happening there, I’m happy for you, but many other’s don’t feel the same way.

The Lord’s Prayer is not a reference to Hell. It’s a request that God’s will come directly down to where we live now, in the present. The Lord’s Prayer is an example of how to pray. It was spoken by Jesus as an example for his disciples. Yes, we want Gods will here now, that’s why that verse is important. - I know we are disagreeing here - I still wish you the best.

Great thoughts, so what is a deciding factor for God putting people in Heaven? Yes, he does weight all of our sins and we will have to answer to EVERYTHING. However, it’s not good or bad things that we do here on earth that put us in heaven or hell, it’s how well we know Jesus. Read John 3:16-18- knowing Jesus is the only thing that keeps us from being condemned.

@@tabttu friend, I am so sorry for what you’ve been through. Have you ever read the book of Lamentations? No worries, if you haven’t. It’s basically people yelling at God for what they are going through. God sees you, he knows everything you’ve been through and he understands why you feel the way you do. Let him have it. If you are pissed, tell him. If you think you’ve been treated unfairly then shout it at him. God can handle your big feelings whenever you decide to speak to him. He’s ready and waiting for you. I’m praying for good things to unfold in your life friend. For God to take what has happened and making something so amazing you can’t even imagine it.

This is a very good thought. Yes, you forgive so that YOU can move forward. It really has nothing to do with the other person.

It really is your choice. The interesting thing about Forgivness is that it’s not for the other person, it’s for you. The anger you feel when you don’t forgive attaches you to like chains and keeps you from moving forward in your life. Also, if you are a Jesus follower, he commands us to forgive. I do stupid stuff all day long and God forgives me for it. He says that I need to forgive people in order for him to forgive me. That was my turning point. I’m not going to let someone else’s jacked up decisions prevent me from being forgiven. I wish you peace, friend.

Paul said it, not me. ** I think there is some misunderstanding happening here friend. Repetitive means to repeat over and over, continuously or constantly. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to “Pray continually,” but Matthew 6:7 says to "do not keep on babbling" and "use not vain repetitions." The “vain repetition” Jesus was referring to was faithless prayers. Jesus said, “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking” (Matthew 6:7, KJV). Consider when you talk to a friend, do you repeat their name over and over? Is your prayer a conversation where you’re talking to the Lord God who loves you endlessly, or are you performing a speech trying to sound spiritual? Jesus is talking about repeating the same thing over and over like that will help you instead of your faith. Or like super religious people (pharasies) that would ramble on with hour long prayers to make them self look good. God wants you to pray, he wants to hear from you genuinely, not for show. That’s what “do not ramble means.” There is no twisting of religion happening here. You just said something really hurtful to another Christian just talking about how God wants to hear from us.

Hi Susan, this is a a great question. I’ll probably do a video later. But Jesus called them to him, saying, "Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:16). Speaks to the importance of child like prayer and faith. God delights in that child’s prayer. But not only because she is a child, he also delights in child like faith for new Christian’s, when they are “spiritual children,” even if they are grown adults. Zechariah 4 says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin,” We all start somewhere, whether it’s building something, or learning about praying. This verse shows that God delights in new beginnings, even if the prayer included a misunderstanding “Kevin.” She’s a beginner, and the Lord takes joy in this. Lastly. Paul tells us in Romans, 26 “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Even if she did call God Kevin, the Holy Spirit interprets this and gets your message to God. The same can be said for us when we don’t have the words to pray. The Holy Spirit will interpret it and pass it on. Because of these verses, I feel comfortable making this video and talking about how I think God responded to her prayer.

@@CoraVinachildren are the exception, not the rule. Their spirit is clean, even if they do not pray at all. Adults are not children.

@@81ghale be careful of being a pharisee my friend. They were hung up on rules and regulations of prayer too. Look at all the prophets in the Bible, look at the Psalms, there is no one correct way to pray. God hears you, no matter what.

@@81ghale good, you shouldn’t use him to glorify yourself, but you should also not be afraid of praying out loud in front of others. It’s about the state of your heart, not about following rules about prayer.
