Sounded sooo good! Was looking at a Crx on fb and saw this engine setup on fb too… so I had to come look up a video of the set up.
How it works with the Coil?
Works well, had it on for two seasons now, no issues.
are you running stock linkage or cascade link with the coil shock ?
Running a specialized mullet link, but a coil should work with any link; stock, mullet or cascade.

No clearance issues, I've been running it for a whole season, I prefer it to the air shock.

I like the coil, its subtle but a good upgrade. The initial and mid stroke of the shock seems more effective now. That's just an OEM link from Specialized to run mullet/27.5in rear.
2:49 is that a big heat shrink?
Yep, I use heat shrink to protect the chainstay.
What parts did you put into your suspension set up? How is it handling? are the happy with it?
Its rebuilt with all new oem style control arms, bushings and balljoints. Then it has some budget Maxpeedingrods coilovers and OEM SI rear sway bar and HF front sway bar. I like it, it handles very well for a budget setup.

I think the trails stay open through fall and into early winter or until the snow hits, usually sometime in Dec. or Jan.
