Amazing freestyle at the futurity!
woo, woo, new friend watching from UAE...
Incredibly talented 👏 👌❤
I take lessons from his mom for western and English pleaser
WHAT A JOB
Every ride that Stacy takes is like a beautiful work of art. Priceless. No other words are necessary. Stacy and her horse are one beautiful being in every performance. Stunning and ever so natural.
Wow y'all are truly the best miss you Roxy
I take lessons and ride on the IEA team for his mom! Trevor is extremely talented and a very nice guy(: I actually ride the Reiner in this video all the time hahah:)
She has to keep her hands in particular places because her horse works off of very acute seat and balance cues. A true bridleless and tackless rider like yourself should know that.
I think you need to get some glasses because there is nothing there
Silly but what I love most is when your horse runs after you like Roxy did at the end. For some reason non horse people think that's so weird, but when you know horses they are a lot like big dogs, in the way that they're lovable, huggable, they feel so much and almost have a psychic ability.
Wow, thats riding.
Spurs are for more direct things like using your finger instead of your whole hand
Anyone who has disliked this video, or any of Stacy's, please feel free to do what she does and see if you can do better.
does anyone know what the name of this song is?
@hektoroholiczka spurs help with communication with the horse to help clarify aids, but many people use them wrong. If you were riding bareback and bridleless with your horse in a huge arena you would want your communication to be good right?
@hektoroholiczka can you show your horse bareback and bridleless with hundreds of people doing the same exact things????? just because u have spurs on dont mean you use them they are just incase! i never use mine they are just on my boots just incase my horse acts up. thats why you are sopose to keep your heels down so you dont jab them.
i'ev never seen any thing like this in my life...!!!
@sharlieeeee Youur amazing much?
@sharlieeeee i thought the same thing at first, cause on certain ones you can tell she is.. not on all.
i truly believe you are the best, and wished you could come to our stable and teach us!
Stacy and Roxy are just awsome together!!
Stacey is one of the most accomplished reiners and horse trainers on the planet. She has her own training methods that she has built up over the years, that allows her to beable to not only simply train a horse, but do it in a remarkably short period of time. She's won numerous green colt competitions. If you know anything about horse, you'll know to watch her feet. The only thing she uses the mane for is to steady herself. Her horse is trained to rein on leg commands, simple subtle movements.
hey that is peppy!
Enjoyed the clip brought back memories. We grew brought up in rural New Zealand. We rode our horses with no saddles or briddles all the time to the beach, mustering, to school sometimes, to the swimming hole at the river and to our friends place with nothing but a sack to sit on. When doing repetitive tasks you and the horse know each others thoughts and expetations. This clip brought those memories flooding back Thank you Kia ora
She does have a rein. My cousin does this stuff. And they have a rein there just incase anything happens. But they dont really use them. There litterally paper thin, Cant see them. But very strong and durable. My cousin said the only time they use the rein is when they slow down.
@AbsolutelyAriel whats your real name and r u on the iea team?
trevors mom, linda dare in hilliard gives me and my sister western pleasure lessons....shes awsome!
Haha my bestfriends x boyfriend. He was a real nice guy. An talented.
that was amazing. and that women has true talent and an amazing bond with her horse!
so to be a futurity this horse is under 5 right? all the more impressive to do this with a young horse
it's funny to watch the horse licking its lips during all of this
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Stacy personally and she uses no aids to assist in riding Roxy. She works completely off body control and balance. This took years to perfect.
RESPECT!!!!!!! HOW AMAZING!!!!
wooooow amazing!!!!
I notice the same thing but I dont think it is them being lazy. I think the new is just gone. The fun is still there but the burning passion is gone. It just isnt new anymore.
I wanna do that one day
Sweet pattern and cool moves! Are freestyle rules different from regular reining rules though? In any other pattern, backing up that much before a rollback would be a disqualification (or at least close; I didn't count the strides but it was a considerable amount); there was also a long jog departure when he picked up the circles again after the spins. Still doubtlessly a fabulous pattern!
how does she stay on when she does her sliding stops shes so cool i love her
They make me cry... My horse and me can do these things.. But not in this way!!!!! We aren't so perfect. This horse is precious, and the rider fantstic.
WIN.
No, Stacy did that ride bridless/bareback in 2006.
She is soooooooo amazing!!!! And Roxy too!!! They make the best team!!!
ME TOO
She has the most amazing bareback seat. Brilliant! and very inspiring. Id love just to be a 1/4 of what she is. Bravo!!
Trevor is so awsome. I went to school with him at the University of Findlay before he transfered. He's a really nice guy.
the fact that she does this better than the other people who have bridles....at least in my opinion...dang...
oh my how jaded we mere humans become so easily. This woman's ability to communicate with her horse is to be admired.
absolutely breathtaking, love stacy westfall, she's an amazing horsewoman
Sorry I didn't cry but I had goosbumps. She is good...... no she is awesome. Is this the same horse or different one? Well done. I would like to see this horse in bridel...
