It's far from her first step through the portal. With a bit of digging, you might stumble across a richly orchestrated pop-rock affair called Stages of the Sun by AdriAnne​ Lenker, made way back in 2006.
"I was 13," she confirms with a laugh. "Those recordings I count as my education as a teenager, but I don't really class them as my first records.
