Skating in the Jungle of the Philippines | Oscar Gutierrez Downhills
While traveling around in the Philippines we had the opportunity to visit Siquijor Island and meet up with the local skaters. We spent over a week enjoying this beautiful place, swimming, cliff jumping, partying and skating all around the Island. BIG THANKS to Charlie and Doni for helping us film and spot the corners during this run!

Laguna Beach es uno de mis lugares favoritos para patinar en California, los amigos, las bajadas y la playa hacen el combo perfecto para tener el mejor viaje. Todas las pistas son muy intensas y llenas de vecinos con carros de lujo manejando a toda velocidad lo que hace cada bajada más interesante! Espero les guste este run junto con una canción de una banda local de Laguna Beach llamada Spliff...

Mientras viajaba por el sur de California me encontré con mi buen amigo Mirko Paoloni y nos fuimos a patinar a las carreteras clásicas de Malibu. La primera vez que patiné estas carreteras fue en 2014 en mi primer viaje por Estados Unidos. Me da mucha emoción regresar siempre a estos lugares, aquí les dejo un edit que hice patinando 10 años después de mi primera vez, mismas lineas, mismos slide...

Do you scout the road beforehand to look for hazards or tough turns?
Hey, is this kind of a similar feeling to snowboarding? To me it looks a lot like the mechanics of slowing a snowboard after bombing a hill and is something that I’d be interested in trying if there isn’t a high likelihood of speed wobbles (I’m very scared of those)
Hey! Yes, it’s super similar to going sideways on a snowboard. The only difference is, if you fall, you fall on pavement 🥲 but It’s so fun! Use safety gear and start on mellow hills
