Is that strap on the neck a capo or string muter?
It's a scrunchie. I use it to mute strings sometimes when playing tapping. The coolest thing about it is you can easily slide it with your left hand while playing

Which base guitar is that? Looking for one to experiment with a DAW - I want to achieve Massive Attack, Chem Brothers sounds for now. Any recommendations? I've been playing guitar for years.
This is Warwick Corvette $$ 5. If you just wanna experiment, my recommendation would be to go to your local store and get the cheapest bass that makes you wanna play it. And then rather focus on learning how to shape its sound with processing, and, equally as important, different playing techniques. This way you'll have a much better understanding of what you personally need from the instrument imho

I reckon they need to get on the road, though I imagine its been a little hard being from xhina with all the covid chaos of the last few years in terms of touring and shit. Hopefully Inside Out records can pony some bucks up to get our favorite chinese prog prodigys on the road
