Just an fyi the distributor gets connected to a timed vacuum port on the carburetor, not a constant vacuum port, which will make and engine run crappy.
Is this fe352 the original engine that came with this truck. My truck has the fe352, but the last owner replaced the original engine with this one. Which car or truck should I ask parts for it????
One of the best sounding v8 engines! Beautiful ford.
I agree
Thats a nice sound
Mount the coil straight up.
Cool. The choke works. Cold blooded beast.
"dOn'T yA mEaN a 3⁵1, yOuNg FeLLeR? (hyuck)" I get so tired of explaining the Ford-Edsel family of engines that I almost understand how these 352s and 360s "become" 390s on the day of sale. Beautiful truck. Sounds great, I'm sure I'll see it at a gas station somewhere.
66’ Camper Special here!
I’ve always wanted a 64 -66 Chevy but they have gotten really expensive. Are the Fords generally cheaper or are they just as high ? I like both. The 64-66 Fords are really cool
Ford more expensive to build motor wise. Chevys cheaper on motor stuff
Anyone know some solid headers for this motor mine look disgusting lol wanting to just change them and do the entire exaust lol
Que video tan sin gracia
Man.. . She sounds nice!
Sounds so clean and smooth.
What can are you running
The vacuum advance is not hooked up on the distributor ?
EAGLE EYE. WONT RUN GOOD .BUT UNDER ONE SPECIFIC LOAD AND SPEED. MPG KILLER
DO LIKE I AND GET A HEI. SO MUCH SPARK. SET AND FORGET. WITH WIRES 100 BUCKS. BEST 100 SPENT
STILL NEED V.ADV HOOKED UP .EITHER WAY. NO NEED TO COMPOUND AN ALREADY HIGH NOX MOTOR. STUPID OR CH
What's the switch on the floor to the left of the clutch pedal?
That's usually for high beams If not mistaken my elco has it
@@g8joe thanks
To change thé high light to low light
How the truck perform with the cam n no stall which valve train u went with curious on sound of cam
@@rodneyharris3284 its a stick😂😂
Why don't you have the distributor vacuum advance hook up?
Because he goes wrong, and thé camshaft is not ariginal.
@@rodneyharris3284 it's not too much. Best thing would be to get an air fuel ratio gauge to help tune it. The gauge will come with a bung to weld into the exhaust. When you buy the carb get the jet kit also
Beautiful truck I own a 1965 ford f100 352.
So do i
Yeah it sounds really good I just put new points plugs wires in my 59 Ford Ranchero with a 352 but I'm still getting backfire any idea what I could have done English please. no espanol
Sorry, for the late. I think that it could be the distrbutor...
Could be a ton of different things... Timing, ruptured vacuum advance, accelerator pump, vacuum leak, point gap, cracked distributor cap, coil, intermittent power short to the coil. Just to name a few.
@@dansclassicsandcustoms to cold or hot plugs. Had that problem with my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 conv.with a 352 FE.
If it only does it at idle or low rpm it could be that your motor is just cold. Same thing happens with my 66 Galaxie with a 352. If you don't let it warm up enough it will run like garbage until it's up to temp
I got the same thing in red- great stuff!
sounds throaty, for-sure !
doesn't get better than that great truck killer motor my favorite Ford engine 352 hell yeah
