Just an fyi the distributor gets connected to a timed vacuum port on the carburetor, not a constant vacuum port, which will make and engine run crappy.

Is this fe352 the original engine that came with this truck. My truck has the fe352, but the last owner replaced the original engine with this one. Which car or truck should I ask parts for it????

"dOn'T yA mEaN a 3⁵1, yOuNg FeLLeR? (hyuck)" I get so tired of explaining the Ford-Edsel family of engines that I almost understand how these 352s and 360s "become" 390s on the day of sale. Beautiful truck. Sounds great, I'm sure I'll see it at a gas station somewhere.

I’ve always wanted a 64 -66 Chevy but they have gotten really expensive. Are the Fords generally cheaper or are they just as high ? I like both. The 64-66 Fords are really cool

Could be a ton of different things... Timing, ruptured vacuum advance, accelerator pump, vacuum leak, point gap, cracked distributor cap, coil, intermittent power short to the coil. Just to name a few.

If it only does it at idle or low rpm it could be that your motor is just cold. Same thing happens with my 66 Galaxie with a 352. If you don't let it warm up enough it will run like garbage until it's up to temp
