Oh that's strange. On what platform do you play? The PS5 runs it beautifully.

We enjoyed it among friends and family. 4 players on 1 screen. But I think the novelty wears off eventually. We kept it as it reminds us of the Track game on the good old SNES cartridges.

I feel like many will be playing the game. It's awesome. We haven't tried playing with others yet and going solo in a private server. If you do get it, let us know, and we'll join you.

@@oshri1023 Tbh, we are now in the final Act and working up to Dracula. It's an intense feeling, and we're excited to face him. But we've been playing since the launch when we could, and this is really how long it can take on solo. haha. I've also been wondering what happens. Cause then you have all the powers, and all you can do is build new castles and continue ransacking villages and also refight bosses that respawn. But it would serve no purpose, except just for fun. I think PVP would be endless, as you will probably have other players continuously trying to take you out if you don't play together. Unless you completely wipe them out. So PVP would probably be more endless than solo. But we'll let you know once we get there.

Also if you dont mind my questions, when you beat dracula and stuff, can you join a new server or make another private game and start all over? Thats what happened on the "wipes"? That it wipes everything and everyone starts again from scratch?

@@oshri1023 I decided to ask the publisher this question, since we have contact with them and since we didn't reach that stage yet. This is what they had to say: "When playing on a solo/coop server you will receive a short message upon defeating Dracula. The game will not end automatically, you can continue to play, make pretty castles etc. However at that point you have overcome all challenges. If you feel skilled enough you can start the game at a higher difficulty, but you will have to start over from scratch. When a server wipes, all progress is lost and the player will have to start over from scratch. We use server wipes to adapt our server capacity to the current active player base. After a while many servers become inactive / ghost servers, due to no player on them. After wipes, we can adapt the amount of servers to the current active player base, making sure all servers have active players again."

You can put your character to sleep in your castle in his special coffin, which is basically the same and keeps him safe. But yeah, that's about it. Not sure why they don't let you pause. Probably because it's on a live server, even when you're single playing in a private server. Similar to Diablo IV really.

@@celenicearthpublications9252 tbh it's not the same really. If i'm in a battle and instantly need to dash out, pause is needed. but it's their choice, so fine. I'll pass

Good news! We had an update on the PS5 tonight and then tested it. Looks like it works. Unlocked the basement shop
