I bought one of these from a record shop about five years ago for a great price. It looks unused but not for sure. Either way it looks brand new and untouched. I have it hooked up to some three way 12” Scott floor speakers. It sounds great! I have a cd player and a ifi zen Bluetooth streamer hooked to it and it just performs every weekend for about 6 hours on Friday and 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday. It just keeps playing beautifully. Radio works great too..When I have music that has ultra low deep bass, I usually turn on the two subs that I have hooked up to it. Very happy with it. I wouldn’t mind looking for a 5000 series unit at some point.

how do you change the volume of the speakers?

The hardwired/built in phono cable in the SY335 / SY665 pre amp makes it really difficult to use the power amp with any other audio equipment. The speaker ouputs are located on the power Amp with no additional or extra phono inputs . It seems They rely solely on each other to work. I'm hoping i'm wrong.

It would be so helpful if you just turn music off then speak or just let the music on and don't speak.

That speaker also has 5 speakers in it you didn't mention the tweeters

Oh my that takes me back ,I absolutely adored my Jane west and her palomino,all the other girls had barbies n so did I ,but just wasn’t into them ,but my Jane west horse and all the kit was absolutely my thing ,it was instrumental in my become a lifelong rider ,started at 9 years and still riding and still horse mad at 63 😂. Thanks for memories ,but holy moly sure not going to buy a memory at that price ,could get an actual horse for that ,not that I need another one ,but even so ,which I had kept mine and the extensive kit my folks added so much extra stuff on birthday and Christmas,way more than you have there.

This is one of the VERY BEST systems I've heard music through - go online and get instructions to first FULLY FACTORY RESET IT -- that is hold down the "Play/Pause" button before/AS you plug it in and wait for the color to turn orange blink - and THEN redownload the older Sonos App and follow app instructions. The Wifi connection will most probably show "No Internet" -- so a direct connection through ethernet is the way - unplug and plug in the unit after a minute or so, and then connect the ethernet (or other way around, makes no difference) - and then LIGHT WILL TURN GREEN - once that's done, system will update - THEN, it through the app, the unit must be connected to the router THROUGH WIFI - this should happen without issue. Once set up is complete, unplug unit power cable and ethernet, and it can be used in any room and will connect to router.

I have this same machine and I love it. This machine has sensors built in that tell you when it’s not threaded correctly. It will sound off and stop the machine from sewing when it’s not threaded correctly. To thread correctly, remove the upper thread completely. Lift your presser foot up and leave it up so that it activates the tension discs correctly on the inside thread passage way inside machine. This sounds crazy but is absolutely necessary. Set needle in up position. Also necessary. With the spool of thread mounted on the spool pin and lying on its side level with the spool cap in place, use both hands and hold your thread, begin threading per the pathway diagram. On top of the machine, after you pass the thread under the hook shaped metal peg, use both hands and pass the thread under and around the semi half square plastic cover pathway while gently see-sawing the thread back and forth to seat the thread correctly into the tension discs. You will hear the thread lightly “click” into place. Then proceed threading machine down the front side of the machine doing the same at the bottom. Now carry thread through the little pig tail shaped wire at the front of the needle clamp. Pull gently on the thread to test it to ensure it’s threaded correctly. Thread should now dispense freely without a pulling or snagging feeling to it. Now thread the needle eye. Next using your cleaning brush, clean your bobbin case to make sure there is no dust or lint in it. Also don’t get oil inside it. You should only oil underneath it when needed. Drop in bobbin with its thread dispensing counter clockwise from the bobbin. Now move the thread tail through pathway as shown on the diagram making sure it lightly clicks into the notches as shown on the bobbin casing diagram. Following this procedure will prevent the sensors from sounding off. This process will absolutely stop the beeping sensor from sounding.

The machine stopping and beeping and flashing light is due to the machines built in sensor that tells you it’s not threaded correctly or the bobbin is not seated correctly.

Thanks for your video, helps tremendously, there is actually a small plastic plate between the speaker and the stand & screw (at least on my system) - have taken down and set-up my Acustimass 10 series IV several time, the set-up of the speakers with the floor stand is always a pain in the neck - wish Bose would have an easier set-up system.
