There are differences in the licensing process from province to province here in Canada. We outline what's applicable here in Alberta.

I'll attach a good place to start. If you have a university education there shouldn't be a problem as high school is the only educational requirement. I wouldn't recommend doing this as the formulas and work you would have to do on the page would be massive. The calculator is a tool.

Generally in 'designated agency' it's easier to avoid conflicts of interest because attributed knowledge doesn't occur like in common law brokerages. Information isn't shared so agents from the same brokerage can be on opposite sides of the deal and not worry about a conflict. What specific examples are you looking for?

First you satisfy your eligibility requirements and pay that fee. Then you choose an education provider...hopefully us but you do have other options. You complete your courses, each having a RECA exam at the end which you must pay for. Once you pass both courses you have one year minus a day to join a brokerage.
