@@brad1505 I think I bought one of the last ones in 2022. Shame this box is no longer available as it's brilliant.

Looked like the shells on the left were not wired up correctly. The last 2 songs before the final track had too much black sky and not much going on with fireworks. From what I heard, the show was restarted again from the beginning of the finale track as the show was out of alignment.

I agree, last year was a better show.

They certainly do! Those shells stood out like a sore thumb!

A light breeze would've been ideal. I'm not the biggest fan of the lasers as it does detract from the fireworks. Finale was certainly insane and having fireworks to the sides the audience too was great.

Could feel the heat of the fire where I was standing which was near the back! Was a pain getting out, I held back in the carpark watching the carnage unfold and stayed until the chaos subsided.

Was awful getting out, I watched the carnage unfold from my car of cars leaving the parking area and waited for a while until the queue died down. I left the venue at around 0:45AM! Traffic management needs a significant improvement!

We joined the queue to leave at midnight and still took 40mins to get off the airfield. It's an amazing display but suspect we won't bother next year.

Yes it was truly something amazing to witness! Definitely going again next year. As for getting out after, they did warn everyone. We left at 12:30 and was out within 20mins.

You're welcome, I think Lidl should bring in some new fireworks for next year!

Was a bit of a surprise with the low breaking shell at end!

Out of these fired I'd say the Gigant Salute rockets. Excluding the Gigant Salute rockets it would be the Gemstone Breakout Rockets.

Velocity is around 40 seconds, Supercharge is around 50 seconds, Storm force is around 30 seconds.

Oh yes! Had to buy one as the videos of it look awesome!

Was my favourite out of the competition displays that evening.

Smoke was absolutely awful, worst I've seen. Was very tempted to go home after the first display.

The displays were great, probably the worst smoke I've seen at a display. The display by Fuse got obscured very quickly by the smoke.

Wish the wind had been blowing from a southerly direction to blow the smoke away from the firework. Cool, the Rainbow Fireworks display was brilliant.

Got to go big for the finale! Finale was indeed impressive with this display.

It was a great display to watch, my favourite display out of the 3 competition displays.

Thanks, completely agree with a lot of the music being the same every single year. 2WEI's version of Insomnia has been done to death now and a few other songs like Imagine Dragon's Believer, The Weeknd Blinding lights along with plenty others have been done too many times. Would be nice for the display companies to be more original with their music choices and hear something different for a change.

@@rocketsculler6735 They’ll probably watch these videos and it might give them a think. I definitely believe they need to stop repeating the same music every year. I’d go with hardstyle personally.

It was a great display to watch, Pyrotex certainly like their single shots! No doubt they were on the limit of the NEQ allowance, they used less shells from what I heard from the pre-competition interview just before the show.

I'd say the Dum Bum 30mm is louder from memory when I fired one back in 2018.

Should be a great closing show by Chase Lane Fireworks. Great to see a team winning their debut Firework Champions competition!

@@rocketsculler6735 Yep, that thing is a chaotic beast that would make any neighbourhood sound like a warzone.

These are 20mm bore in size.

The salutes are very punchy for 20mm.

I used a Nikon Z6 with a 14 -30mm F4 lens. Settings I used in the video: Focal length - Varied from around 18mm - 14mm. FPS - 25 at 4K resolution Shutter speed - 50 Aperture - F4 ISO - 4000 Colour Temperature - 5200K Picture Control - Neutral Focus - Manual at infinity I find these settings give bring out the colours well, some of the blues are harder to capture particularly where the fireworks have smaller blue stars. The video was recorded internally in the camera so colour depth is 8 bit. Can be recorded at 10 bit colour depth but requires an external recorder. Saturation was slightly increased post editing to help bring out some of the colours but raw footage looked good. Also white balance decreased slightly to help bring out some of the blues.

It definitely is a great piece. Yep, the fusing between the cakes isn't the best with some noticeable gaps when it should be seamless. Was tempted to reduce the gaps between the cakes but didn't have enough time.

The Japanese certainly do make some of the world's best shells. Their firework festivals look superb!

The Abingdon shows that Illusion do are always big, this year's summer display at Abingdon was bigger. Not 100% sure what the biggest shell size they used but I suspect they were 12". Probably quite a few 8" and some 10" shells used.

@@rocketsculler6735 Wow, that's cool that they're even that size. Watching it back they definitely seem even bigger than I remember. I was right near the front so I guess I didn't get a good sense of scale for how much larger the biggest shells were. Definitely wanna go to the summer one already! :D

​@@IngestedbanjoBiggest shells they used were actually 10" At the summer show they also do a daytime display with lots of coloured smokes and is very loud!

The next summer festival is already announced. It's going to be on 31st August. And I already got tickets 😂 can't wait 🤗

Was a brilliant display, lots of nice shells used in the display.

They are great rockets for the size, quality effects and great colours.

I bought this from Fireworks South Wales. It has now been re-branded as Overlord from this year.

I was very impressed with this piece.

Unfortunately this selection box is no longer available which is a shame as it is a brilliant selection box.

It certainly is, wouldn't look out of place in a pro show. The bursts were huge with this piece!
