I've waited too long for this interview, I've been a huge Max fan for years now. Great Work Everybody.
Both Debaser and KrafTone looks like nice plugins. However, how about using them if the final design is going to be high-res 300 dpi prints? Do they work fine or are they more made for 72 dpi screen design?
Both are specifically designed for hi-res printed artwork. If you're planning on screenprinting, KraftTone is a better option as it's easier to produce CMYK separations.

I bought this for a school project and I gotta say: it’s really damn good
I fell in lvoe with your company and bought a bunch of brushes for procreate already. But having some more tutorial videos... even longer ones for following along (like creating a vintage poster from scratch) would be amazing! You must have some very talented people who could pull that off. Anyway, just a little wish from a happy customer.

It would be interesting if you could hire artists to teach you tutorials on Procreate to make the image realistic in a retro style, I bought the brushes, I tried everything and I couldn't make these textures faithful to retro comics and perfect like the real thing =(

How did they do the transitions in color on the zombies’ shirt on 0:14 from green to orange? There’s also transitions in the face from light purple to dark purple.
By applying different color formulas to those areas. The darker purple has a heavier shade of magenta and cyan (50%), whereas the lighter shade uses 25%.

For sure. We're always working on something new and should have some new paper textures and brushes for CSP dropping very soon.
It keeps coming up as a program error for me whenever I try to use it and I followed all the directions on how to set up the file :(

That's an impressive action set.
Really disappointing to see NFTs mentioned in the license. Would have thought everyone knows by now what a horrible scam they are and that any artist would stay far away from them given how toxic the evangelists were to us. Creates a sour taste in my mouth regarding what would have otherwise been a product worth considering. Going to have to have a think over whether I want to support this company ever again.
Totally understand your concern, and you are welcome to spend your money where you choose. We have an internal policy to not promote any NFT-specific work or the artists who create them. We're certainly not out there encouraging anyone to make NFTs. However, many of our end users have little control over how their clients and corporate overlords use the work they create so we added the NFT allowance to ensure that artists creating work for litigious clients and employers would be covered in the event their artwork is converted to an NFT long after delivery. Our license errs on the side of protecting the little guy/gal (freelancers, small studios etc) Are NFTs a scam? Sure. Would omitting NFTs from our usage allowance prevent anyone from making one? Nope Are we cool if from time to time a young, struggling artist who isn't aware of the issues surrounding NFT's uses our products to relieve some dipshit crypto bro of their cash so they can pay their rent? Yes. Yes we are.

Absolutely. You can either use the recipient's email on the order or forward the order and download links to them. Ideally, you should purchase in their name so that their name is linked to the license. We also have digital gift cards.
What's the difference between the Debaser and the Kraftone kits? They look to be the same thing, but Kraftone seems like an updated version of Debaser?

This particular pack doesn't have a video tutorial as the brushes are very intuitive and easy to use. However, most of our brush and effects packs do include tutorials.

The Grain Shader brushes are more focussed on grainy/grungy textures whereas Stipple Studio simulates stipple shading made with ink markers. 🙂
