This was lovely. I have one query: clavichords are really domestic instruments, and in a smaller space with some fabric, like curtains, carpets, and other furniture, would the sound be clearer, less echoing, than in this rather large bare (museum?) space?

Det må tilstås, at et clavichord nok er det tangentinstrument, som jeg personligt synes mindst om. Men det er selvfølgelig godt, at musikere inddrager det i deres forsøg på at lade musikken komme til sin ret. Og denne indspilning er af høj klasse.

There are many similarities with the Pachelbel Ciacona in F. I know there's only so much originality one exercise over a ground like a chaconne, but still I wonder if there is a connection?

Wonderful performance of music new to me. These large clavichords are very enjoyable to listen to. I lack enough sophistication to enjoy the little table-toppers. I'm a pianist and organist but I know I would enjoy playing as fine an instrument as this one.

Wow, is your clavichord that loud? The loudest one I heard was a Dolmetsch at St. Cecilia's Hall in Edinburgh, and that wasn't quite a historical copy.
