Another solid video, Sir. We'll release a portable air pump for off-road use. Can we invite you to do a review? We have emailed for an inquiry.
thank you for the tutorial… so much better off! planning on getting one as a first EV daily driver… do you know how much less than the 3 miles/kWh does it get with covers off?
I've never seen a race that short - I think I can run that distance and give the Tesla a battle.
You should be able to hit 10.8s and def. 10.9s stock ... seen best of 10.56 with passenger & rear seats removed (replacing drivers seat with a race seat), frunk plastic removed, and 18" Hypergram wheels squared, @ optimal charge and pre-c. @@DezDriven lucky one! The only reason I don't buy it because it's produced with the weaker overheating battery here... what a shame
2025 lci m3 and m4 have more HP. But a simple back seat delete or racechip 400$ and ur running all over thr model 3 performance.. even stock from a roll u would pull
Not for track, its a one trick pony, only good for drag 0-60
Nah, it can handle corners due to lower centre of gravity. Keep coping.
Dude this was sick!! I can definitely see you breaking into the 1:33, 1:34's. If I could offer any advice, I would work on the steering inputs to be more smooth and open up at the end of the curves more. Coming out of T3, you are still turning hard left when you should have already opened up for the double right that takes you to those S's!. But solid solid solid. Hope to see you out there soon!!
@@Cegor you rock Cegor, thank you for the advice, definitely need to get a lot smoother with this car. With more seat time I think we can get there!! Hope to see you on track add me on IG DezDriven and we’ll connect.
Looks so much better! It’s a travesty putting those ugly plastic aero covers on such beautiful wheels.
@@ericandi I’m with you, I personally like the look a lot better without the aero covers 💯
Thank you for this video/method watched other removal videos with wheel removal and/or cutting the springs - all overkill. Using your method was easy, quick and did not leave scratches on the wheels just used track spray as you suggested to remove plastic scuffs. I have a full set of trim removal tools and used different tools for removing covers on the bottom so did not have to move the car. By the way, I am 78 and found this easy to do.
@@garybippert5661 you rock Gary!!!! I appreciate the feedback and congrats on the new ride!!! I am glad I was able to help 🙏
Looks like you are overdriving quite a bit. Try not picking up the throttle until apex. With the amount of power and being AWD you'll want to get more rotation at apex before putting the power down. It may feel slower, but you'll end up with a better lap time. Are your tires at 37-38psi? Lowering a couple psi will help a good deal also.
@@billysmith4278 thanks Billy I appreciate the feedback and will definitely try it out 🙏 on these stock tires PSI was between 40-42 hot
@@DezDriven Definitely want to go quite a bit lower, you'll find the car more predictable and will regain grip quicker. Obviously, it becomes a compromise when you don't have camber. So the outside will wear more and be more likely to chunk. When you get some camber added, keep lowering pressure until you stop gaining time. Following and looking forward to what you do. I just got my 24 M3P and will be doing time trials with it.

can you do a side to side race with your previous G80 M3 Video?
Do the endless pads mostly solve the stock pad overheating issue?
@@M43S7RO the Alert still pops up on screen but the brakes feel good and work properly on track. The main issue I run into is depending on how hard you are pushing the car, you will get 1-2 solid hot laps also depending on which track you are on, after that the battery overheats and then you can instantly feel power is gone, at that point I get off track. So my sessions are only about 5-6 minutes each time instead of 20 minute sessions in cars
Are you experiencing the oil leak from the rear like others have mentioned?
Don't stuff around with a Model 3 get a Model S Plaid and bury the thing.
Pretty impressive upgrades. Looking forward to the session with some better shoes on the car

Great stuff! I am preparing my manual G80 M3 for the season next year. How are the EBC blues holding up? I am considering going for the RSL29 Endurance pads but they are quite a pretty penny. @@zacharym02 it was an absolute blast bro!!!! The only section it fully kicked in was the corkscrew. It was my first time at Laguna so I had it on since I had a long drive home and didn’t want any issues. It was a perfect track day 🙌🏎️🏁
U can turn it off completely but it can get sketchy
@@G82Watts agreed and if you have to drive it home then I’d do the same it’s just clearly holding him back from better lap times. None of this stuff on my dedicated track car but that’s the luxury of not having to drive it home. Free to loop it or worse anytime I want but the car isn’t holding me back from finding my limits and better lap times which is the goal…for me anyway. Looks like a wildly fun day!
Yikes kinda slow times, not much better than the previous generation m3p
Overheat that battery
Break it break it already
So all these people acting like their cars are stock running 10.8s are really lying in some form. Thanks for the honesty. Btw that m3 was gone. He had his transmission in S and not d3 😂😂 rookie mistake
@@G82Watts I was spinning alot during the launch. At my local drag strip the track is a lot more prepped and I don’t spin at all. Definitely will be in low 10s with a better prepped track. Some of these model 3s dropping into 10.6 now it’s wild. & I think the M3 was not at temp yet while trying to engage launch control so it did not auto shift for him. That would have been a fun race too!!! One day I’ll take the M3 and M3P out here to Vegas and race both against each other 👍
@@DezDrivendude 10.6s are completely gutted. Lmao. U know what it takes to even get .1 of a better time? U might get 10.96 or some but these other people aren't stock and acting like they are. All tesla cult fans care about is quarter mile times and without them looking good they get mad.
@@G82Wattscry about it
You would have gotten trounced by the M3 comp xdrive if the moron didn’t have the transmission in “S”. Your 60 ft time is bad. I can pull sub 1.6 on the street in my m3 comp xdrive let alone drag strip. That just solidifies which car is truly faster.
These stock brakes only OK for drag racing 😂
Oh and you can run under 11 with some minor upgrades. Switch the wheels for 18s! I’m looking at tsportsline
Impressive smoking those two bmw’s
Driver error. The m3 comp xdrive if it was lightly modded would have had that tesla for lunch.
People are so ignorant . A m8 comp can run 10.8s .. u can also tell that the m3 was going to slaughter the tesla with how it came off the line but he didn't have it in the correct launch mode. The real story here is all the people acting like their teslas are stock when in reality this guys is stock and it's running no where close to the 10.7s that other tesla people claim. Clearly their cars aren't stock at all and they removed seats and used lighter wheels and act like they aren't doing it.
@@G82Watts100%, if you look at the 60 ft and 0-60 times in the Tesla, they’re actually pretty pathetic compared to our cars and the mph 123 tells the true story. These sub 10.9 second m3p’s are manipulated runs, just as you said. Anyone can remove the seats and put on lighter wheels with gripper tires.
It would be interesting to test range with them on and off. I am on the fence about removing them.
100%
The full aero covers on the 18" wheels tested to be worth about 2-3% more range, with these performance covers covering less of the wheel it's probably more like 1%, or 3 miles less range.
@@tneper I took mine off and the wheels look way better without all that plastic.
Swap the wheels out for 18’s and get a higher SOC. You should see mid 10’s
@@atlmz6 thanks a bunch for the advice!! I am on the search for a good deal locally for some 18s!! & I’ll definitely have SOC higher next time around

Looking at the Dragy leaderboard results, the US M3P should have the edge in the 1/4 as well. Just make sure you have a good charge and warm battery for optimal performance.
I thought Tesla upgraded the brakes on the new model 3p? It’s still a problem? 😭 that car needs better aero for the brakes badly. Tesla keeps slapping huge hp numbers on there cars but not focusing anything on brake performance. Ioniq 5n has nearly the same brake rotor size with more weight, and it doesn’t even overheat, Tesla brakes can be fine I believe stock, if it had better cooling along it
Tesla upgraded the new M3P for street use. For serious track use you'd need aftermarket brakes.
Are you preconditioning the battery? You should be sub 3 seconds 0-60 and sub 11 seconds 1/4 mile without too much effort other than that!
No ur just seeing tesla cult fans lying and putting on lighter rims or removing seats or going downhill for their runs then acting like it's stock. If it's truly stock it's doing no better than 10.9 ..
@@G82Watts uhh yeah 10.9 is sub 11, genius.
