As someone who used to work as a nanny in wealthy families let me tell you some of those parents don't want to be a parent, they just want to have a child but in a convenient way - without all the parenting stuff. And those children are never ok

Domestic workers deserve so much more respect!! Growing up I always had a nanny in the house because my parents work often and both me and my twin are on the spectrum, even if I do see my parents and we have a close relationship, we need someone to help around the house bc my parents are busy. Every one of them have shaped me in ways my parents couldn’t, they taught me how to be grateful and to be polite, I don’t understand why people are so rude to them and treat them like less than human. Every nanny that left our family still has contact with us 👍 Don’t be an asshole to domestic workers

Tbh im not surprised that the nannies know more about the children than the children's mother. I mean the whole reason you hire a nanny is because you know you dont have time to take care of your children. So obviously, the nannies have more time with the children and know more about them. If the parents are able to spend more time with the children, would they even need a nanny in the first place? 😂 Well, im not saying you cant spend time with your kids during the weekends/meal time. But there might circumstances we dono yeah, and who are we to judge them hehe I was brought up by nannies as well, but after i grew older, i didnt need nannies anymore. I spent more time with my parents and theyre overly protective of me even till this day when im 30. Im grateful for the choice my parents made to hire a nanny when i was younger, and im grateful for the nannies who took care of me, so everything worked out in the end hehe
