I’m having trouble with the part that says to mark on the diagonal. I’ve done something wrong.when I cut my pieces out on my foam, was I supposed to cut the fabric with it?.

I took The Lazy Girl class for this bag on Craftsy and still can access the class. I tried to make me one but when people see this bag they want it. I have made this bag several times and I still don't have one for me. Easy and her info on how to put in a zipper is what I use now to put in zippers. Wonderful bag!
