I just drove to sardis by the spillway today with my son to check things out, never fished there before. Were out of olive branch. Nice crappie

Is this method primarily used for baitfishing or can you catch bigger fish with it?
Mainly fishing for bait but you can absolutely catch big fish with it depending on where you go. I have caught some decent bass with it at the sardis spillway
