If i remember right , my engine blew after a couple of weeks of posting this video 😂. I installed a new engine and its been going strong since then.
If oil pressure is healthy, VVT solenoid and cam sensor are positively working. First check wiring for VVT solenoid all the way to computer. If wiring checks out the PCM is bad or timing has skipped a tooth...You can check pcm circuit by measuring volts and resistance...Bad values will confirm pcm failure

Sounds like a rod knock my neighbor recently had in this exact same engine, ever figure out your issue?
I never figured it out i just kept driving it and then one day coming home from work i was on the freeway and all of a sudden my car overheated and lost power, i pulled over and the engine turned off by its self. When i towed it home i took off the oil pan and there was a whole lot of aluminun shavings inside and a big piece of aluminum so i ended up replacing the engine .it runs waay better now
