For this yes, we don't use the term NBT anymore but just "boosting" yes. For this I do boosts on every turn. Are you playing on the original PAL Version SNES as well? Without boosts it is difficult to make more than a few jumps in a race, even just one is quite hard but you can get it after a while for a good best lap on laps 2 to 5. My other advice is to play all of the tracks equally, not just GV1 or a favourite one. You will pick up more core driving mechanics that will help your overall level on the game for time trials, that will also make you a stronger driver on 150cc and Match Race.

The basic hopping technique is easy when you know how. The boosting that you see only gives an extra 5% lift up I would say on the core driving mechanics. Have a look at my 1'00"99 video for this track on PAL Version that I uploaded in around June 2019 specifically. That may help understand the normal driving mechanics to keep on the edge of the road. I'm sure every game has their complexities which are hard to understand.

It isn't a laptop, it is a large television screen. I have been asked the same before but I have to film with the phone camera because I use Flight Sim at my brother's place on the Xbox Series S. It is the only set up possible here, either that or I don't play it at all. The videos are just for myself really, not bothered about views and subscribers and all that. Perhaps check out other people's channels, they probably make better quality videos which may be more interesting.

@@SamiCetinSMK It had been pretty dry, and not a lot of rain. I was grateful it had rained while I was away not being able to tend the garden. Hurricane peak season is approaching now though. The plane I flew on while not knowing the specifics, was very close to the one in the video, I could see some of the city upon landing, draped in clouds the rest of the way.

@iamthewolf7277 yes I did an Air France flight yesterday with Concorde. Not had an issue with that. The crashes where it goes to the Series S desktop seem to happen based on locations I try to fly in. Certain airports, and South London area to name a place there has been a bug for 2 years which never fixed. I am wondering if the new Flight Sim 2024 will solve most of those problems. We would hope so at least...

@cosmoglass I had a look but they don't seem to have the exact one. There are some other 1969 / 1971 / 1973 Mustang variations that look close but not exactly the same. The cars are set on my track too so I can't use them all on that specific one, just a variety that I chose. Another drive is on the way...

Thank you for your kind words. My mother passed away earlier this year. She used to watch me play Forza a few years ago and I had her name on the car numberplate. So I decided to do a drive through again of the course route I made then, with a number of classic cars. And yes, it is nice for relaxation, the perfect idea to do a little at a time :)

@gasasmk Thanks man, it really is that classic car. I think everyone wanted one before. For my custom track I made in Forza I can only have a certain number of preselected cars to run on it. But I chose some nice ones, and other classics. I like it because there are a lot of regular family cars, not just racing cars. Even my mother's old car from when I was young is in it. There are a few from some famous movies too! I will gradually work my way through from slower to faster ones on the 40 mile track. It will get a bit crazy later when the fast cars hit the road. If I have time later I will do the next one, and continue uploading them. Enjoy! 🙂

Hello, you are thinking of the 150cc mode, laps can go to 9 seconds without items. That's great that you and your brother used to play. Are you based in America or Europe? You are welcome to join our community if you still play on an official Nintendo console. Time Trial is still very active. I have another 1'00"99 video from 2019 on my channel but it is without the pipe humps so it is even sharper. My friend in Japan also just did 0'59"46 the same way on the NTSC version. I met and played Mario Circuit 1 with him in Japan when travelling last month.

@@Boxinggavinmason Thanks, yes I meant that the off road boosts might be confusing if you were not aware of them. Very common but it is also good to max out on normal driving on the edge of the road first. We have several videos of those. Some courses are more built for just jumping around and over corners. My Ghost Valley 3 and Vanilla Lake 2 records in the recent years are good examples.

@@Boxinggavinmason yes, it is possible to do slides that are a bit difficult to do and get mini turbos to cut off road terrain. You might have noticed when sliding round a hairpin turn on a track holding R. The counter steer and Release and the engine sound goes up a bit for a moment. That is the boost. Execute that just before some off road terrain and you can cut bits of it. Again that only makes the records a little faster so it is best to maximise on normal driving at the edge of the road first. ​@Kapulot there are a lot of techniques, and even more on the multiplayer modes. I also did a 1'00"44 last night.

This is because I play this at my brother's home. My PC for live recording is at my home set up for the SNES / SFC instead. There is no space to bring that here. So the PS5 for Ghost of Tsushima and Xbox Series S for Flight Simulator will only be recorded the old fashioned way. I just play these for relaxation so it doesn't need to be taken seriously. Many other people probably live record this game with a capture card. Perhaps check out their videos instead if it is preferred.

Hi PaulSera, and I have also done a run that way too, driving on the road but as sharp as possible -> ua-cam.com/video/kKRjeOHJgRY/v-deo.html. Though the off road boosting is the official way to play as outlined by a competition from Nintendo in Japan back in 1993. They also have a demonstration video of that run if you would like to see it.

You are very welcome, I think I did another one a little more recently but forgot about this. It was very nice. I was inspired by the San Fernando Valley from where the Karate Kid movies / Cobra Kai series is set (though they filmed some of it elsewhere). Plus I have a friend who lives in West Hills and I visited him once nearly a decade ago on his birthday.

Reduced throttle to zero and apply full flaps / airbrakes. I think in real life that would severly damage the aircraft bit they are known to slow down fast as well as accelerate. This is just done for fun only to see how long it takes from point A to B, nothing serious.
