Guru Sri V.S Ramamoorthy, the founder of Sri Rama Nataka Niketan, was born on 20th September 1920, making it an important day for the golden dais for Indian classical dance. He performed his arangetram on 15th August 1947 - the auspicious day of the Indian Independence and established Sri Rama Nataka Niketan 1967.
Currently this institution is run by his daughter Guru Smt. Manjula Ramaswamy who is a perfectionist and makes every student swim effortlessly in the waves of dance.
This channel showcases the talent and hardwork of the institution and is dedicated to the propagation of Bharatanatyam.
