How do I keep the item numbers the same throughout my assembly and detailed drawings ....it was like that in levels of detail .
Hi. In my inventor, I don't have such a valve. How can I import this?
Great tutorial.
Autodesk is terrible in the naming of their products: I also cannot find this product on their site, probably because it is now called Autodesk fusion manage?
cool, thanks
Backrooms
Good question. I wonder if you were to save all the new materials to one blank part file and then opened it in your latest version of Inventor if that would save the new materials along with it.
It does not works with Vault Basic :(
💘 'promosm'
Thank You 😃
It is a great feature. I use it a lot to put the part number on the part to make it easyer to find diferent parts when they assamble , and to mark where parts are placed when welding. BUT today i try to use it for making a 15 mm high part number in "stencil" through on a 4 mm sheet --- but i only see the thin single line, also on the flat pattern. WHAT DO I DO WRONG
I'm finding that once I add a model state to a part, I can no longer edit it in context. If I delete all of the model states that were added, and get back to just the primary model state, I can now edit in context again... Any ideas?
I always save new materials to Inventor Material Library, but whenever we switch to a new version of Inventor, they don't migrate with the design data. Thus I have to find open like about 50 individual parts with all the materials we use and save their materials to the Inventor Material Library which is annoying. Is there a way to do this in bulk?
Is there any option to show the chosen model state in the BOM in the upper assembly on the 2d drawing? So production knows, which model state has to be inserted in that assembly.
Why did you keep the library as STEP wouldn't you convert to IPT just to save import time
How to copy surface from one part to another part
Jared is beautifully clear and engaging. Easy to learn with his lessons
Finally a great new option that has been bugging me for years
Everywhere in the rest of the world, X-Y work plane shows a Top View, which is not a case in the USA. There their X-Y work plane shows a Front View. Why is this, I can not explain to myself? Probably they want to be kind of different by the rest of the world, same as their measurements for temperature, length, weight etc. Typicaly...american.
Good video. I leaned 3 things watching it. Good job. Short and simpel.
This video has nothing to do with ILogic! It is about how to create a button!
It is great. How do i deside to have it on inside of a hopper? i try to do that but it always plase it on the outside. And how do i get mark the bend line? It can be nice to have the bend lines engraved and a laserbeam on the brakepress.
Enroute
I am using Inventor 2023.1 I don't have this feature? Must it be installed separately?

Excellent!
Thanks for your video
Steve ... WELL DONE! Excellent tutorial and intro video for the mark tool - I was up and using the new tool within 4 minutes of watching your video for the 2nd time.
GZERO, thank you so much. It is always great to hear that users are finding our content helpful.
Great video man

It's nice, thanks. What about icon ? Now it's possible to make icon for rule in ilogic browser, but not in ribbon toolbar ?
Excellent!
Looks like a real time saver, but how would you prevent the "mark through" tool from cutting holes in your part?
Flatten the sheet metal before you mark it
@@EliasNPC I think what Wobblybob was referring to was that the characters with circular shapes, "8" for example, would just cut two holes tangent to each other. And a "9" would cut a circle in the part with a "tail" extending down from tangent to the circle. I would love to see a stencil font built in to Inventor to be used for this purpose.
@@lvstreamer9403 Oh yes I didnt think about that 👍
I need this version 2023
ah yes spend thousands on inventer so you can spend hundreds more on fusion to use one tool. genious. is there any other softwere or something i can use? i have a good computer and not mind waiting a bit more for stuff to compute
Actually, depending on how you buy Inventor, you may have access to Fusion 360. Most users are purchasing Autodesk's Product Design and Manufacturing Collection, which contains both products. Many users struggle with the question of "Inventor or Fusion 360?" In reality, Autodesk is giving users the tools they need so we can discuss ways to leverage both to make the work easier.
@@mesainc.2559 well there are many people who just cant aford to pay all that but have the knolage and ideas to manufacture something that could make them millions but they are stuck because they just dont have the tools. now i understand that it takes a lot of work to make thoes tools and im not saying everything should be free but the amont of money these things cost is out ragious. you can only afford it if your alredy sitting on some wealth but for us who dont have anything we cant get our foot in the door.
This was so useful! is there anyway you can show how this works with assemblys?

It will be very nice if you upload a video in which full process is covered for animation and simulation and render
Where is option for showing 1st angle and 3rd angle projection ?
Thank you for the fantastic lecture. Your video gave me a really good foundation for understanding about joints and constraint.
Hey Steve. This is a great tip and I will no doubt be taking advantage of these functions soon. I too, tend to leave my cap lock off.
Extremely useful. Actually, to me the copy feature has been something difficult to wrap my head around it. Inventor does not seem to have a unique and thorough way to properly copy a assembly with frame parts. The iLogig copy was a game changer. Thanks a lot!
Sorry for the delayed response Sergio, but we're so glad you found this video helpful! Thanks for commenting!
