Poor Man's Night Vision

My Sionyx Pro with a cheap ir and a Steiner TOR ir laser. It's nowhere as good as actual military night vision, but for 400 bucks total, it's fun to play with.

very cool
How do you load for rifle primers? or do you load all your primers the same and hope for the best? Thanks,.
Your grip safety is more elegant than the original.. awesome!
Im so jealous...
I’m having trouble with the rattle paddle and the semi auto bushing and we’re to drill below the mag catch for the semi auto bushing help please 😊
Probably lives in the uk. Here in the uk you can't have centre fire semi autos
Is the bore smooth?
No, he said the holes in the barrel follow the pattern of the rifling
Fantastic dude excellent craftsmanship!
How easy would a 9mm with s&w or glock mags be?
Sticking to matches
What if you spray a little acetone/shellac in the happy mix first just to damp the powder before you put the potassium?? That would make it more stable and safer surely! Just enough spray to make it like a screed mix dry/damp not drenched of course.
Knock Knock.. Who’s there? It’s ATF sir, We need to talk 🚬💀
I wish I had that kind of machinery👍🏻
GET SOME!!!
🫡💥🇺🇸
so how did you make the cups and anvil
Also, the reason I clicked on this video was because I was watching how a shotgun works, (even though I already know, but I was bored lol) and it showed me the primer of a shotgun shell and what was inside it. One of the things that stuck out to me was the priming compound, which I thought was intriguing because I was also wondering what the compound was made up of, so that's the main reason I clicked on this video. 😄
its a sign from god that u should make your own bullets and firearm😂
@@hhhd-fo8en yes it is lol, that would be way better than to actually but them. I actually saw a machine at Academy Sports and Outdoors where they have it, but I just have to figure out how to use it lol. 😂
that would look fun for me to do.
I feel like you're giving away the secret formula 😂
I feel like you're a modern day Bob Ross since you keep saying "mix all those happy colors" 😄 (I know no one can replace the OG Bob Ross, but I just wanted to say that.) 😂
this looks so satisfying to watch
You undoubtedly have done a lot research regarding the dimensions of the original Welrod. Do you have any reserves about sharing basic dimensions on forums? You’ve silently smithed the best authentic replica I’ve seen.
Whats that up top? If you mind me asking sir! I got a Remington model 11/48 in 12 ga SBS with a barrel about a 1" longer then the tube and it shoots about anything i can put through it
a Weaver Qwik Point sight.
Hello? anybody here?
Is that standard velocity or have you found a subsonic cartridge that works well? I just ordered my phoenix today and I’d like to know my options
Tidious work in our new; exercised form of; Freedom to be "independant of, Gov control attemps. Thanks.
Its not that sensitive dude! It has to be hit between the primer case and anvil - the fact that you're worried about your wife getting mad tells me too much about your personal life.
Thanks. What was the standard volt for the original battery? I’ve seen some differ t outcomes of various batteries. I would like to get it as close as original outcome as possible. I’m scared I might fry the electrics somehow hehe.
7.5 volts
@@rifleshooter2 Any cons of only using 6 volts?
I like how it claims to be a "Small" Starlight Scope.... I appreciate your video, sir! Definitely will be saving this for when I finally pick one of these up for my GM 603.
What’s the barrel length
How do you clean your paper hulls after using black powder or pyrodex in them?
You don't
Hell yeah
How fun
:D
She choochin’!
Why do you shoot with a chicken wing? Did you serve around Vietnam by chance? That was the standard way of teaching to shoot at the time, but we’ve since progressed quite a bit with our shooting form.
Ware the steam at or did you mean stream engine 🤔
amazing
Now make a little boiler
It's on my list
If I only had the tooling machines.
Nice old South Bend you've got there, friend. Got one just like it, used to be on a submarine back in WWII. I cringe though, every time I see you chuck up one of those thin-walled cases in a 3-jaw. Have you tried a half-inch collet?
There's no concern with getting these chemicals all over your bare hands?
I'm confident that if you were to publish a book with all of the technical data and prints you could sell quite a few copies. Very few people would make one but multiples more would buy the book. It's an interesting piece of history that fascinates many people.
Yes, I agree!!!
All you need is a lathe/mill combo or lathe and a mill. Its a simple design.
@@monotech20.14 so I guess you'll be writing the book then? I'll be waiting for publication. I'm a type 7 FFL holder with SOT. I have a bit of experience with building NFA guns and I think it's a bit more complex that you pretend. If you want to prove me wrong just go ahead and make one without the suppressor internals. Just run the unsorted barrel out to the end of the tube and I'll buy it from you. Just show me a working gun first and let me know where to send the check. If it's as simple as you say I think $1,000 would be a fair price. Sound good?
@@JoelKliesen Overall the Welrod is a simple design. Also you can some of the internals from existing firearms and parts. Not everything has to be made from scratch.
@@monotech20.14 you backtracking now? When can I expect delivery of my new Welrod clone? If it's as easy as you say you should be able to get it to me by the end of January. I'm not expecting you to jump through any hoops and get it done before the holidays. That seems unreasonable.
does making your own primers save any money?
Does it have lugs or is it held in place by that wooden wedge?
to bad there is no modern Replika of this Revolver
Impressive work, looks just like the original. did you make it all from scratch?
Hey what's that stock??
Blidclart
hi, where you download blueprint? Thx
