This is a very good video in understanding how to use this rule for calculating class numbers and width, though I am confused that you use LOG (n), ( which works for me) vs LOG 10^ n which is used in my textbook and other sites ( which I can't get to work).
Part D. The original question is to calculate the probability between X = 84 and X = 106 but the calculation uses X = 87 and X = 106. The answers, as shown in the video, are based on X = 84 and X = 106.
