1992 SC400 owner here. My car has the same 1UZ-FE engine as yours. Yeah, man. I went through the whole, "OMG, this ain't the right sensor!" experience, when I bought the small one on rock auto, thinking it would be the solution. I'm in Canada, and the only place I can get it is from the Lexus dealership. Are you sitting down? $514 before taxes, baby! If you can get the part for $250, consider yourself LUCKY.

This video is saving me! Long story short, had a valve cover leak that leaked onto the part of the alternator which leads from fuse box to alternator and it fried! I’m currently in the process of finding awg wire to do this upgrade/fix And now I know exactly how to do this. So again, THANK YOU! And Semper Fi from Oki. I did find a rat nest under the intake manifod when I did the starter. There were rags an bags with zip ties. I would love to mount ITBs there, just for easy starter access an keeping clean there.

So, I am doing the same thing to my daughter’s 2002 2.3 Accord. Put new pump in, cranked it…it ran well for a minute then started running rough and now it will crank but not start….any suggestions or tips?

did you ever find a good replacement fuel pump I have an sc and recently replaced it now its loud and whiney almost like a dog whistle

These pumps actually have a permanent filter inside the plastic unit, it’s recommended to back flush it if you choose to reuse it and replace just the one pump itself
