Northampton Film Festival is an annual festival held in May each year which showcases the best filmmakers with a connection to Northamptonshire and those from around Great Britain who embody Northants’ unique spirit.
Discover Northampton Market Square
Commissioned by Northampton Town Council, and created by a group of Northampton residents alongside Northampton Film Festival, this film takes you into Northampton Market Square's past and looks at how you can help write its future.

Young people's look behind the scenes of our Women's Rugby World Cup film

At the beginning of 2024 Northampton Film Festival worked with The Bee Hive and Quinton Milise to produce a short film, commissioned by West Northamptonshire Council, to promote the Women's Rugby World Cup in West Northants. This documentary, made by University of Northampton student Daniel Elmer, includes footage shot by the Bee Hive young people themselves.
