Just bought the sound town Carme powered subwoofer 18 very constructed looks beautiful but clips a a very low volume, I was expecting to do a little better, I do live sound, I know I didn’t pay top dollar’s for it but like I said was expecting just a little more volume before it started clipping.

You're also in OSB monitors even though I dismounted all that stuff in fruit in a box I have a habit of doing that I took the OSB monitors JBL compression drivers in and Emirates 15 600w drivers all because the stuff becomes that was beatbox the box is great but the stuff that's in the Box it's great but the 15 that they got in there is only 300 watts and I think those compression drivers like you have thereby pick your only need 40 w I'm putting 60 then and 600 W 15 one cuz I like these debility clean the sound of cricket in the 300 watt driver problems I have with little Waters drivers is their quick to distort so I mean like the way that I got it setup is Crown 3600 song Frontline for stage and I'm running to Boxing Channel and regular one apples just Channel 12 second a channel 2 but I'm running full boxes for amps but just be pretty good coverage on the front line some people say is overkill but now I think it's comfortable and I happen to like a lot of old school boxes like ever like running Scoops Forsyth feels and I don't know how much you're into like building your own stuff but I'll tell you something that I really will blow your mind those Community box of the 415 that were Subs they make some hell of a mid-cap index OtterBoxes at 8 arms scrapping together for 4 that's all you heard and that's dinner whole you just modify yourself that's only two boxes you got to carry me asking to be a little heavy but hey for the Quality Inn volume of sound you can't get rid of it yeah I know they're the size of a mtl4 yeah we got some new stuff but I don't believe in throwing stuff up because a lot of people that say they don't like to keep the old stuff from like you're out of your mind imma say this about quads if you happen to have any problem with quads is this you need to up the box to 600-watt drivers why the box down to eight strap to together for 4 put them on an app that can push 5 to 6000 w preferably a crown I know a lot of people don't like using quads because they so heavy I will give you something funny we did a gig on the DC on the monument grounds so you know you test your system someone is pushing some hard music I know you always check out your copying first get that running right man weave push that bottom end this is so funny I never laughed so hard in my life we turned on 16 quads so you can imagine how much power that was I'm wrong for this but it's still funny today returning 16 Quadzilla I'm sorry I'm trying to tell you this and I'm still laughing to this day this happened years ago we turned on 16 quadmed and it's hella if cos came on with all the we're with all them vc5000 I never seen so many police in my life man they come from under that status we didn't know you couldn't turn on any subs and dumb when we turned it on me was like thunder I mean when is down system isn't sitting in the grass man that's sitting on concrete it sounds a lot different you're not trying to be funny I built 8 quads another sound company I rebuilt for cards for them I don't know how they were just doing it so I think they said they fell off the damn truck or the truck wasn't emotional whatever however they got beat up pretty bad so what I had to do was reskin them wooden Jackson Birch and flower drink water I took all the outer skin off back top bottom sides rebuilt router and sanding them up very good pointing them up painted them came back to the guy funny thing is he call me back like a month after I gave them back to him and he says to me a hey man these things sound better than it did before he asked me what did I do they use birch plywood to build some of that stuff and using different wood but I did if you ever have to make a repair to a box use that urethane Gorilla Glue make sure you take a sponge and wet the area that you going to attach together with that flew I built some double A teams and about 16 of them and I use that glue the thing that I found interesting is I looked it up online and saw the I guess the DNA of the sticker glue but three was saying if you wet the area it makes it possible for the urethane glue going through the pores of the wood in the cracks and Grain in the wood so it's not just the fastest that's holding the cabinets together this also the bond of this type of blue but every box of ever built this stuff no rattling and anything else of a sort but then again I also use a lot of cleats ladder stabilizer especially when it comes to Subs got Heather had a couple mc04 since I guess he called himself trying to get building with whatever Casey was trying to do and those 4:18 was trying to knock the back of that cabinet out of it back a boxing movie like 3 in every time that low in would hit it would put he had no support in the Box whatsoever and it was just trying to push the back out of the box show I don't think people understand the power afford 18in drivers in a in a box together stimulate teams that building at 1200 W drivers in each in each box 2400 w a box I like those that you can take him anywhere and you can skip the lead or in anywhere 48 by 30 by 24 guess you need as well I'm quite sure you've experienced but have you ever used those PV lowriders One driver by itself they don't work well without a cousin I'm just saying this cuz I see a lot of people on UA-cam they'll go by 4800 W drivers think it's going to change your life that particular driver will not do well without another driver you have to buy two you cannot buy one and put it in a box by itself and think it's going to give you what you think is going to give you you have to put it in the double 18 box cuz you're going to have to use the smallest amplifier that you can use the vgz 5000 those lowriders do that played but they only can play well with a with others it's up to you guys that are DJs and run out and buy this driver and spend all this money trust and believe I've worked PRO Sound for 20 years and I got 16 boxes with those drivers in it each one of those boxes have to have the vc5000 or greater Trust and Believe when you run in 16 boxes with a crown 5000 each those of you that runs sound know what I'm talkin about Desco Bring the Noise take a veezy 5000 cockatoo your line array this is to all you guys that be running your system if you are running the single 15 10-12 top box you're the bait a hook two boxes how you expand on that just like this you want a double box you wired to 16 ohms measure put the boxes together with drop the four and I guarantee you when you turn that on you'll have a lot more top-end in dealing with a single driver top box if you run in the lottery even if you buy those what are they called seismic audio boxes you can run a 5000 watt box on those drivers right out the box but you got to switch him over to 16 on me by app that means you'll be using to amplifiers to run that box when on your compression drivers the other one your meds Trust and Believe and seismic boxes with standup but if you trying to run them for ranges of DJ that's one thing you wouldn't stand out you got to put some power on them and you got the run two boxes by him 16 ohms I prefer it that way myself. Cuz that gives you 8 drivers acting as one

I actually just ordered the dual 8 version of these. Just one box as I needed center fill for a bigger show. The main system I'm using is 4 - JBL srx835 tops and 4 - Srx828 subs. I figured the zethus line would do a decent job for the dancers up front that want to hear the mix in their face

For budget equipments these are great. When I discovered them I was like wow for a Chinese company that has a warehouse in SoCal these are great. Highly recommend for anyone who’s starting out but doesn’t have a very large budget.

If you had to equip a band what soundtown speakers would you recommend. Either passive or Active

The mid hi boxes get power from the amp in the sub. Any possibility of update to run this box, or even a hang of these with the sub, thru SMAART ? Max Continuous SPL real world would be nice.
